United Kingdom | 29 April 2024If I could give CyberpowerPC UK zero stars, I would. My experience with this company has been a nightmare from start to finish. What began as a simple diagnostic issue evolved into a prolonged ordeal marked by incompetence, poor communication, and a lack of accountability from both CyberpowerPC UK and MSI. Initial Contact: Disappointment from the Start On January 4, 2024, my PC shut down and refused to boot back up. Following CyberpowerPC UK's advice, I replaced the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. When I got my PC back on January 17, the motherboard wasn't even compatible with the new CPU. I had to update it myself, something that professionals should have done. New Problems and Unhelpful Support On January 18, I encountered severe screen tearing, artifacting, and system restarts during performance benchmarks. CyberpowerPC UK suggested sending my graphics card to MSI, as it was still under warranty. This should have solved the problem, but it only led to more delays and confusion. Constant Delays and Poor Communication After my GPU was sent to MSI on January 23, CyberpowerPC UK left me in the dark. I had to repeatedly chase them for information, but they offered no meaningful updates. By February 27, I received a dispatch notification from DPD with no clear indication of whether the problem was fixed. MSI, the supposed expert, was equally unhelpful. Neither party had proper grasp of the problem or simply were uninterested than going any further than their default methods of troubleshooting. Issues Persist and Inadequate Solutions When my GPU returned on February 29, the same artifacting and black screens continued. CyberpowerPC UK's advice was to either buy more RAM or send the GPU back for more testing—none of which resolved the problem. I even tried the GPU in a different PC, and it still didn't work. Clearly, neither CyberpowerPC UK nor MSI knew what they were doing. The Third Return and Empty Promises On March 6, I sent my PC back to CyberpowerPC UK for the third time. Despite their promises to involve the MSI account manager, nothing changed. By March 14, I was chasing them again, and the MSI account manager input was either non-existent or was just as useless as everyone else. The Final Straw When I got my PC back on April 16, it wouldn't even POST, indicating that it had deteriorated while in their care. CyberpowerPC UK’s response was dismissive, suggesting their tests showed everything was fine. But my PC wouldn't even start. MSI’s report stated "no fault found," despite the GPU being completely non-functional. Compensation Only When Threatened with Legal Action It wasn’t until I threatened legal action that CyberpowerPC UK even offered me compensation. Their proposal was a credit to buy another graphics card, essentially asking me to sell them my GPU for a fraction of its market value. Comparable GPUs are selling for much more, and given that the warranty expires in August, their offer was simply inadequate. Final Thoughts CyberpowerPC UK along with their buddies at MSI have provided the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. Their communication is non-existent, their testing process is inadequate, and they only respond when pressured. If you're considering buying from either company, I strongly advise against it. They don't care about their customers or their products. CyberpowerPC UK's so-called "Lifetime Support" is nothing more than a hollow promise. Despite claiming to offer lifelong assistance, my experience with them has been nothing but a series of delays, empty assurances, and inadequate solutions. Their customer service team is unreachable without persistent chasing, and even when you do get through, the responses are vague, condescending and unhelpful. If you expect real customer service, forget about this lot, If I had realised when ordering my PC originally I was getting “Lifetime Support” bundled with IaaS (Incompetence as a Service) I’d have went elsewhere.

United Kingdom | 25 April 2024Have bought 2 computers from them in the past few years, first one arrived with Windows set up in German and a couple of faulty USB ports. Most recent one arrived again with faulty USB ports. Aside from that, happy with both of them.

United Kingdom | 25 April 2024Honestly, the tracking is the great. They keep you up to date with each part of the process, the email instructions towards video on how to prep your machine one you receive it. And the support from the company are one of the best I've had the pleasure of purchasing from. Have had the computer for around 3-4 months. Havent seen or experienced any issues with it yet.
