I wanted to make some custom minifigs for a tabletop game I'm in, and after doing some research (and finding a company that could do the print files) I came across 3D Hubs as an option. The turnaround was far faster than I expected, and the price was very good for what I wanted doing. Put it like this, I haven't yet tried to paint my minifig because I'm concerned I won't be able to do the print justice! Definitely will be using 3D Hubs again for future minifig creations.

Guys you are fantastic; Having used Shapeways for sometime I can say I am quite content to say I am happy to use you guys going forth. HOWEVER, and I say this; trying to be as objective as possible. The delivery service your using is incompetent. Your hardwork and amazing customer service is being bungled by the second part of your service the supply logistics firm youve chosen. Its taken 3 days to get a parcel from a distance of a 10 minute drive. Logistics firms are a dime a dozen; they take a box and move that box to destination it says on the label. Its the least technical aspect of the transaction; It might be worth seeing if any more of your customers are having the same experiene with a survey after the consignment is made.

This was the first time I attempted to go directly from designing in a 3D software package (Fusion360) and sending out only the STEP file to manufacturing. In fact, I had 10 different designs, of varying complexities, and only needed a single piece of each machined in aluminum. Every piece I received was exactly as I had designed, the tolerances were well within the standard range, they were nicely de-burred (no sharp edges or corners) and I received them 1 week earlier than expected. Plus, the cost for 10 different, one-off designs was 5x cheaper than any other service I got quotes from. All-in-all, it was a great experience with a service that was new to me.

I'm building a prototype desk organizer (under an approved patent), and 3DH printed it in 3 different sizes and different colors. All prints were solid and just the way I wanted - perfect seems to be overused - but that is how they were done. All orders were printed within the projected time frame, and shipped with lots of padding. I have referred 3DH to a good friend - which is the highest compliment I can give. Clearly, I will use them again when the need arises.

I have two blender-made figure model sent to 3D Hubs for printing. Chose PLA at the beginning and passed the automated test, but they manually inspected it again and suggested me to switch to Nylon as PLA won't preserve too much details of the model. They refunded me right away and let me decide instead of printing it out anyways and charging me. So I did that and the received models look great. Will print more of my hobby stuff with them in the future.

My first time using a 3D printing service. Found 3D Hubs on the internet. Order process painless. My item was around 15€ (PLA). Needed a 30€ minimum purchase, so I ordered two for the same price. My piece was a relatively simple one. Quality of piece received was flawless. Turn-around time was supposed to be 10 days or so, but I received the piece within 2 or 3 days. An excellent first experience. Will use again.

I had a rather difficult part that I wanted FDM printed. Despite not usually printing parts like that using FDM, Hyundo and the rest of the team went out of their way to make it work and it came out so much better than it had any right to. Great experience.

3D printed parts recieved from 3D Hubs were priced much lower and produced more precisely than parts I have recieved from other suppliers. Apparently 3D Hubs uses INDUSTRIAL SCALE machines rather than the hobbly level machines used by other onlne 3D printers. I will definately look to them when I am ready for CNC parts in metal.

Great service, instant quote, cheaper than everywhere else that I looked and very quick printing and delivery. My only tiny grumble is the minimum order surcharge, when the price to print my 3d item was lower.

With many companies supplying similar production offerings, I have found that 3D Hubs exceeded my expectations with my first order.
