Australia | 28 January 2020Absolute disgrace. I’m 11 and a half months into a 12 month interlock period. I simply can’t wait to get this money grabbing thing out of my car. It is a pure rort. Random message shows up regarding a ‘violation’. Despite never missing a test and doing nothing different for the previous 11 months, I have to pay a fee to clear the violation. Called them, got the whole ‘nothing we can do’. Apparently if I don’t clear the violation my car will permanently locked out and an every more extortionate fee to unlock it. They basically hold you to ransom. PAY US OR WE’LL LOCK YOUR CAR PERMANENTLY. I have reported to consumer affairs and spoke to a solicitor as I believe this is a type of extortion. Charges are not justifiable. WATCH THIS SPACE

United States | 18 January 2020So far just horrible! Install supposed to be 4hours, I have gone back two weeks in a row and the device still isnt installed! Now my vehicle will NOT start even when they took the device off! They just called and were like “sorry not sure whats wrong but we give up” so now going to have to be towed to the dealer (mind you this is a new car 2018) to be repaired and still I have no device which i paid for!!!

United States | 12 December 2019My appointment had to be rescheduled. The technician was never informed (apparently) what type of vehicle I drive. The device was never installed. The technician had my car from 930am-230pm. I couldn’t drive for a week until my next new rescheduled appointment at a different shop. This has been a waste of my time

Then boom out of no where I'm asked to leave a message had to walk home phone died. Worse of the worse. Never again

United States | 28 November 2019All the staff is very friendly but has no idea what they’re doing with the exception of Shiloh and Keisha. I was Given the run around a few times, and was scheduled incorrectly by Janice the first time. I showed up to the installation place only to be told I was not scheduled, I called Guardian once again to speak with Janice at which point she stated said she would waive the $30 admin fee (Quality Control can pull the call if they want to) due to the inconvenience, (apparently I had To be enrolled in a DUI program prior to have the device installed which she failed to inform me) and that the total would be $60, yet at the time of installation i was charged everything. I called Back dispute that, was placed on hold for 20 minutes and I hung up and I’m still waiting for them to return my call especially after they confirmed a good call back number. I also couldn’t get any questions answered without having to transfer me to several different departments. Glad to have the IID installed now and can Not wait to finish the program. The experience with this company alone, was enough for me to not get a DUI ever again so thank you for that.

United States | 23 November 2019At first it cleared my service days from 58 to -1. I called the mechanic, bring it in he said. When installed he told me I had 2 minutes to restart the truck after shutdown. Not true, that was why it said I tried to by pass the system. So needless to say he serviced it and told me not to restart it after shutdown. He stated that's why everyone is having trouble with this. Haven't had a problem since. I would recommend it in fact I have already. Thanks.

United States | 21 November 2019This device is so finicky. I’m constantly temp locked because if the breath isn’t perfectly steady, long enough, hard enough, etc. it aborts you. It’s not nearly as easy as it sounds. I thought I wouldn’t have a problem since I’m not drinking but it’s been nothing but a nightmare. I’ve missed work and been late several times. Take your money else where.
