The machines are hard to use. Took 5 hours to install cause they were all dysfunctional. After finally installing left auto shop and still had a bad device. Got perm locked and couldn't start my car while getting gas had to be towed. Still waiting to be reimbursed. Had them remove device that day stayed with original company.

I just had the interlock installed on the 2nd of this month. So far, things are great. I haven't had any problems. I had it installed at Debroux Automotive. The service was fantastic. I wouldn't have it serviced anywhere else. Rodney, the owner, and Adam explained everything perfectly.

I have called and waited on line and pressed 8 for call back, been waiting for a call back from customer care for over 24 hours. So much for 24hr service! I'm sure the website says 24/7. This is a holiday weekend, would be nicer to know if y'all are on holiday!?

It takes too long to warm up, the retest after 5 mins is redundant and the hum and blow combination is too sensitive it should just be a blowing device.

I had a bad experience scheduling my appointment. I called and set up a day to have the IID installed but when I showed up to the shop the worker said that they were unable to keep my appointment because they only did installs on certain days. I was never called and informed of this and it made it very difficult to reschedule. Would not recommend.

The concept is great, I dislike having to hum and blow at the perfect level and pitch to take my sample. Warming up and waiting 45 seconds to 2 minutes sucks also. Its a pain but I appreciate being able to drive.

I own a “difficult” vehicle and first shop could do it on my Range Rover sport. Guardian stepped in and referred me to another shop with electronics experts and got it done quickly and flawlessly.

They told me that they would send my interlock install papers to the dmv that day. I waited a day or so to go the dmv. After I waited for 30 min in line to get my license renewed they said the paperwork hadn’t been sent over, I called the reporting department and left a message and have yet to hear from them and the dmv still doesn’t have my paperwork. This is legal paperwork and a serious issue! Completely unacceptable and horrible experience! Should have chose another company that does what they say they are going to do!

I called the 800 number to set up appt for reset. The agent said my wife could drive over to the appt since I was working. She took off work to go to this appt today but the interlock location said that I had to be present. I'm really frustrated because this thing is already costing me more than I was quoted and now my wife missed work because your agent didn't know the rules! Thoroughly disappointed. This is a racket and should be illegal.
