United States | 18 October 2020In the last 6 months I've had my handset replaced around 10 times. I've had it replaced twice over the last 2 weeks. This most recent time I ended up stranded over 2.5 hours from my house. I call Guardian and they can't offer any solutions. I'd pursue a solution if I was given one. I transport children and this is becoming scary and dangerous.

I have had this device for over a year now, and with constant device issues, I was willing to look past them because it never kept me from using my vehicle, although towing my car every other month was pretty inconvenient. However, for a week now I have not been able to drive me vehicle due to device issues. I towed my car to three different locations, and was promised a NEW device at every appointment. However, at the first appointment they did not even have a new device for me, or any replacement devices for that matter. At the second appointment I towed my vehicle to, after asking the agent to triple check that I would receive service, I towed my car there only to not even be on the schedule. On saturday I called and they told me that they were unable to schedule an appointment for me, but somehow when I called the shop they were magically able to set an appointment for me. However, I was given another ‘refurbished’ device that worked only to get me about 10 minutes away from my house before it stopped working completely. Each and every time I called the customer service line, I could not get a straight forward answer and that a ‘market manager’ would be reaching out to me, however I am unsure they even exist as I still have not received a call from them in about a week. On the website is specifically states that a replacement device will be issued within 24 hours so I am unsure why it has been a week with no working device. Not to mention I spoke with a Dineen McCoy who is apparently a supervisor, I simply asked for an email stating that this company could not provide me with a working device, to show my probation officer that this is in fact not my fault and that I would get some kind of answer today, but after saying that she would, she simply put in the email she she herself reached out to the market manager. With complete disregard to how something of this nature could send me back to jail. Not only have the customer service agents been unhelpful, they charged me $70 for a service that clearly has not worked, and offered me $50 ‘credit’ to their company as if that would suffice from 3 tows, and a week off work now that I have not had my device. I have recordings from the latter phone calls with this company and will be sending them to my lawyer, this company has definitely mishandled this situation in every way possible and is absolutely unacceptable.

United States | 13 October 2020At first, I thought Guardian deserved 5 stars. My initial call with them was very pleasant. However, after that the experience went south. They sent me to a shop that didn’t have my appointment, in a very bad part of my city, and could not actually install the device in my car (I have a Volvo). I went with another company after this experience.

United States | 24 September 2020This device can’t tell the difference between food & alcohol.... being charged for an innocent violation up front is ridiculous... programming & design of the product is Mickey Mouse. Need to hire some real engineers instead of some back yard wanta be engineer. Driving & using this device continuously during a route presents a driving hazard & safe driving wasn’t a priority.

United States | 17 September 2020When I went to Lykins Tire and Auto for my monthly calibration, my vehicle information had been erased. It took 2 and half hours and a long conversation with customer service to get things straightened out. I've had nothing but ongoing problems with Guardian and don't recomend them. The customer service representative was a rock star!

His replacement was rude and insisted that Corporate would not make any changes to assist me rather than answering the question that I actually had. He did not represent Guardian Interlock in a professional manner after I had already been under tremendous stress over having to re-install after being told to remove it. He could have done a much better job and hope that he does not make everyone that comes through the way he made me and my wife feel

United States | 20 August 2020I was told by Guardian that my appointment was confirmed at Duane's Autoshop. When I arrived at Duane's, I was informed that they told Guardian that they could no longer access their system and would be unable to complete my installation. Guardian never informed me of this and I had to drive completely across town to another location to have the device installed.
