I went to Storage Giant because I had storage in another facility on Newport Road which had become increasingly expensive and there was no negotiation on price. Taz spent time showing me round and gave me a very competitive quote so I cancelled my storage elsewhere and moved into SD two weeks later. Moving in was very simple, relaxed and friendly. Rhys and Rhiannon spent 10 minutes with me in their reception area making conversation and doing forms before directing me to back up to the loading area. I was all done in about 20 minutes, saving loads compared to where I was before. Thanks all.

Closing down an account after it was no longer needed was quick and easy. Took literally minutes. Thanks to Marc for the professional service.

Update: I have just been contacted by the customer services team who have apologised for the experience we had. After speaking to them, I feel reassured that I will have a better experience next time so have changed my rating to reflect that. Thanks for contacting me. We have used storage giant on two occasions and have not had a positive experience. In the first instance we wanted a storage unit for one week to store some items while we were away on holiday. We explained that we wanted to put our items in the unit on a Saturday and would be removing them on the following Saturday. We paid for the week and completed the move out process at the same time. When we arrived on the following Saturday to remove our items. We were not allowed access and was told that we had technically gone in to a second week and needed to pay for another week before we could get our stuff. We explained to the manager that we had not been told this when we took the locker ( not one person we dealt with had mentioned this too us) and that we had been thinking of using them again but we're now having second thoughts, it was agreed that they would waive the additional week and let us take our stuff. Feeling that they had been fair we decided to use them again. This time we decided to take the unit for 28days to save any issues with taking the items out and incurring additional costs. We again completed the move out procedure when taking the unit and was assured that there would be no issues this time. As we only really needed the unit for just over a week. We collected our items early and handing back the keys. On doing so we were advised that as we had moved out early we would get refunded for the days we hadnt used as well as our deposit. We have received the deposit back however are still waiting for the refund for the unused days. We have contacted them and have been told that we are not technically entitled to it. It was the sales persons error advising us that we could have it and that the refund was at the managers descretion. We again spoke to the manager and was told that he had issued the refund but we still haven't received it. It seems we should have been once bitten twice shy with this firm and my only advice is if you are going to use them double check the info you are given and read the fine print as you could be left out of pocket.

I had my storage unit for 2.5 years in cannock and I can’t fault it. You can excess anytime and very secure. My items were clean and dry no damage to them at all . Never really had to worry that my items were not safe . The staff were also very friendly and helpful . Highly recommended!! Will definitely use them again

Gareth is knowledgable, concise and very confident in his job, a really pleasant experience yesterday booking a storage room and a great offer with 50% off for 8 weeks! Note for Management, Gareth was there alone and had 3 people waiting whilst we were being served, he remained calm and assured the waiting Clients that he would be with them as soon as possible. He needs support there as you will lose customers as there are numerous other facilities in the area!

I have recently hired a unit at Llansamlet. Dean was a great help, very informative and made the whole process go very smoothly. Excellent customer service and I would certainly recommend to anyone else looking for safe and secure storage.

Fantastic service and help from Emily and Ross. I was pressed for time on the day I began using the unit and they both did everything they could to help speed up the process, while still giving me all the information I needed. Highly recommend.

Just taken out a storage unit in Cwmbran, I must say, so far my experience has been brilliant. Emily dealt with the initial enquiry and followed up promptly to see if we were interested or if we wanted to have a look around at the units, she was very informative and made the experience pleasant when in a stressful time with moving! The facility was very well kept and easily located with easy access to good road networks. On the day we took the unit we were welcomed by Ross who was very polite and professional he talked us through all the insurance paper work etc and showed us to our unit. I have nothing but positive words to say about both Emily and Ross. Being a manager of a local estate agent, I will be sure to pass on their details to any client looking for local storage at an affordable cost.

Only used SG for 6 months but have been more than happy with everything. Good prices and service from Emily, Josh and Ross was superb. Would definitely recommend.
