Unreliable I used 3 cleaners through TidyChoice and unfortunately I found the cleaners to be unreliable. The last cleaner went missing with the house key which was never returned and the company made no effort to get the key from the cleaner. After a number of phone calls and no help, I had to foot the bill to get the locks changed. Would I use them again. No. I doubt I will win the £30 for giving my honest review, but I would rather be honest to save someone else the hassle I went through. Update further to the comment posted by TidyChoice. I am glad you are taking on board that which I have said in my review, and I am glad you finally saw that it was inappropriate for the key to the property to be sent sent by post to the property by the cleaner. Having referred to my emails, I see that you agreed to ask the cleaner not to send the key by post. My belief was and still is that if the post was intercepted then the key corresponded to the address of which it was being posted to. Although TidyChoice said they do not get involved with the return of the keys they did try and contact the cleaner who appeared to me, to have stopped communicating with TidyChoice also. Hence my giving up as the cleaner was not answering calls or texts to make arrangements for the collection of my key and if she decided to send the key by post , which she did not do thankfully, would have been a security risk. Given the unpredictability of that cleaner, my decision to quickly and at my own cost, have the lock to the house changed was for the security of the property and tenants occupying. Thankfully, the company I am using now for my tenanted property portfolio are very professional and take very seriously lateness, no shows, handling of keys and the professionalism of their cleaners. So it all worked out well for me in the end. The new company now service all my tenanted properties once a week and I am delighted with them. I gave TidyChoice a good go, but I honestly would not instruct them again. Just being honest!

Easy to book and easy communicate with TidyChoice where as I had no luck with a cleaner from other websites. My cleaner Helena is very good and very professional. Would definitely recommend TidyChoice for those looking for a cleaner!

This is the second cleaner recently that gets ill a lot, cancels last minute and then says they are leaving the company so won’t be returning, it’s a real shame as work (when they are there) is good.

I started using a house cleaner from Tidy Choice just over a year ago. I found the website easy to use and was very pleased I could read reviews of each of the cleaners from people who had used them, this made me feel protected in my choice. My cleaner is always on time and does a good job. The added service of reminder emails two days in advance of my next appointment are helpful and the payment system has never failed us. I'd highly recommend for people with busy lives and busy children!
