United Kingdom | 26 October 2024I use Trans Global Express to post fishing rods as they have been the cheapest and in general they provide a good service via DHL. Like most couriers they have introduced a peak times surcharge which is extortionate percentage wise in relation to their normal charge. I usually pay around £18.66 but now the price has gone up to nearly £24 to post a rod, that's around a 20% increase. I cannot pass this cost onto my customers as they simply won't pay it therefore i have lost the sales. I don't know why couriers also charge around £9 as a handling fee to manually check to address. Postage in general makes it unviable to run a business and placing surcharges on top just rubs salt into the wound. I won't use Trans global Express until they remove their surcharges. Dm Norfolk

United Kingdom | 22 October 2024Misleading communication from Transglobal express leads to package being destroyed Notified by Transglobal that a parcel had been returned to USPS with an address issue. Their highlighted text in the email states -Please provide your instruction within 3 days. If instruction is not received within this time, we will assume disposal. I responded the next day confirming that I would forward another delivery address as soon as I received it. That I wished to proceed as stated. No response or confirmation of receipt from Transglobal. Having forwarded the address this morning, I am advised that package had been destroyed. When I challenged that via email I note the goalposts have now been moved to "We have a 3 day hold policy with our returns facility, this means that we need the address that is being reshipped too within those 3 days not just a confirmation that you would like it reshipped." Their misleading first email does not state that, despite being highlighted. Their customer service rep did NOT respond or communicate this information when I advised that I wished to forward the parcel. If they had advised of this fact, I would have managed this situation in a different way. Disappointingly poor service, with inaccurate and misleading information provided to their customers. No customers complaints process highlighted on their website, advised to contact general customer services. Avoid.

United Kingdom | 21 October 2024This was my last order for my company before I retire I made my best last product, your customer services, usually dose a great job takes all the stress out of sending products, I was told the product would be sent to my customer the nest day. which he made sure he was in then to be told it was hold up in the midlands , it would be the next day and it would arrive at between 3 and 5 pm he was in at 2.55pm only to be told they tried to deliver at 12. 50 pm , I am not happy and he's not happy .

Instructed on Monday to collect on Wednesday - Checking on Friday to see when the goods would be arriving with me but nothing on screen. Only to find that item had not been collected (although DHL said they had been but nothing to collect - which is not correct). Given a number and reference from transglobal for me to call to arrange the collection with DHL Germany!! Goods now late for installation and will be costing me a lot of money. Very disappointing that there is no system that informs you when the collection has not been done. Nothing from transglobal apart from a limp Sorry! Will be thinking about carrying on using them.
