United Kingdom | 15 February 2025My new company sent its first transatlantic parcel to the USA using Transglobal on the 4th December 2024. The quote I accepted was for courier DHL to handle my parcel containing an electric guitar. Freight Cost £120+ Unbeknown to me at the time, the parcel was passed from DHL to UPS whilst still in the UK. The tracking showed the parcel was scanned at the UPS East Midlands Depot and yet within 24hr the parcel containing the guitar vanished off the face of the earth! In the meanwhile my customer reached out to me stating that UPS had contacted them to advise that the parcel was lost and that they needed to reach out to me. They sent a screen shot which I then sent to Transglobal followed by telephoning them. Their staff member assured me (I have it in writing) that the parcel had not been lost and that I need not worry it had been scanned and that it was just the festive period. I explained the importance of this being resolved and again was reassured. That member of Transglobal staff told me that UPS should not have reached out to my customer / recipient…. that most of the UPS customer service team consisted of foreign people who did not know what they were doing! Charming! My worst fear came to fruition, the parcel had indeed been lost by UPS somewhere within their East Midlands depot. NO Grey Area they LOST it. I have since spent an incredible amount of time chasing Transglobal to get this resolved as they are the shipping agent who unbeknwon to me had handed my parcel over to UPS when I was under the impression the parcel was being handled by DHL. There was a 15 day period of time where UPS were meant to be conducting a search for my parcel the whole time I was left high and dry. I lost the sale, the good will with my customer and the cost of the guitar that was blatantly lost whilst knowingly in UPS's charge. Today is the 14th Feb 2025 and I still do not have anything by means of compensation. Apparently I will get a grand total of £50 back this coming Wednesday 19/2/25 as I did not enhance the insurance on this parcel. This is despite it being 100% black and white that UPS under Transglobals’ instruction had my parcel and then LOST it. I will NEVER use Transglobal again the level of neglect, misinformation, unprofessionalism and the fact that I have had to chase them every step of the way is simply unforgivable. I would advise anyone considering using Transglobal to avoid at all cost! UPDATE 17/2/25 I wrote to Neil as invited - Big surprise, the reasoning for encouraging me to reach out to Transglobal publicly was so that they were being be seen to be doing the right thing. The response came through and achieved nothing other than fetching further insult over this situation.

United Kingdom | 14 February 2025An issue arose over a parcel to to USA with tnhe sending Company. I have used Transglobal Express over the years and never had an issue. I was at a loss as to what had happened, and left me confused, shocked and bewildered. The parcel to family was personal and wanted to ensure it arrived safely. I contacted Transglobal Express and spoke to Nicola Gonzalez was brilliant. She listened carefully, fully believed that I had followed the correct process. She sought to calm my concern, was so supportive and understanding as to why I wanted the parcel to get to it's destination. Through telephone calls and emails, Nicola went above and beyond. Resolving the situation and ensured parcel went via another courier and arrived safely. Additionally resolved a financial penalty which had nothing to do with me. I cannot thank her enough for showing such kindness and resolving everything. I am a very happy customer. Brilliant.

United Kingdom | 14 February 2025BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES!! Beware when booking with TG as they have hidden charges. They like to charge you huge fees for packages that are scanned larger than the actual measurements. This happens frequently so save your boxes to prove their sizes! They only issue huge bills long after most people would naturally throw away the boxes and you can no longer prove the measurements. You can even redo the booking with the exact larger measurements and it STILL doesnt come to the extortionate fees they bill you for. Very unethical!
