United Kingdom | 16 September 2024I've used Transglobal Express for quite some time and always been very happy with the service until today when I booked my normal parcel collection to find that my cost has gone up by over 50% due to the insane collection charge of £4.95+VAT for us small users so instead of my DHL parcel costing £8.70 today it cost me £14.64!!! I had told them I wouldn't be using them again but I got caught out as I needed to ship today and hadn't searched for an alternative but never again as they got greedy by hitting small businesses for a collection charge that is totally unreasonable and now makes us uncompetitive with the larger companies who get it free if they spend over £25....IMO Transglobal built their business up on the back of small customers now discard them as they don't need to worry so much about them now....seems like the norm everywhere these days and no wonder small family businesses like ours can't compete. Crazy thing is though that you know it's a money grab by them as I can have an International parcel collected for free. You got greedy Transglobal Express and don't deserve any business as you could have charged a nominal £2 or so collection fee but £4.95+VAT is ridiculous. I'll find someone else for the future and suggest that others do as well to show them they can't screw us over cos they're in a position to be able to do so. In response to the reply to contact Neil at customer service well not only have I seen this on every disgruntled comment but I emailed them some time ago and they never got back to me so I'm of the opinion its not a genuine concern but more a 'show' to users of Trustpilot that they appear to be interested when they're so obviously not.

United Kingdom | 13 September 2024Having used Transglobal for many years with no issues, we set a parcel to a customer in Holland. DPD "lost it" but it actually got returned, as they tried to clear it through French customs, without a French VAT number. Having spoken to a few staff at transglobal, Vanessa then got involved and managed to sort issue out. Parcel is now on its way to our customer. Scott and Kasia were also helpful.

United Kingdom | 13 September 2024I just love Transglobal Express. Importing can be so complicated now (thanks to Brexit) but Transglobal are there for you on the end of a phone when you need help. Try doing that with Fedex, UPS, DHL etc !

United Kingdom | 11 September 2024I’ve been using Transglobal Express regularly for a number of years and the generally the service has been fantastic. Yet recently they have introduced ridiculous collection charges as follows: £5.94 (including VAT) for a collection, unless your basket total is over £25 That basically prices out any of us smaller scale shippers who require ad-hoc collections, as it’s now significantly cheaper to utilize my own account with UPS etc. For example, a standard DPD UK next day parcel is £9.84 (including VAT) flat rate for 25KG, but with the new prices it works out at £15.78! It’s the same regardless of service. Even the cheaper Evri services now cost more than double! Unless you’re a high volume shipper, it’s unlikely you’ll save money compared to booking direct with the courier, and even if you do ship a lot you’ll likely still save money going direct as most couriers will be happy to negotiate a discount based on volume.

United Kingdom | 09 September 2024The plus side has been a fairly reliable and good priced postage to US. Its not a fast service but losses have been similar to other couriers. Claims are a massive administration load to the point its not worth claiming The reason I've ceased using transglobal was the complete lack of professionalism in changing their pricing structure without any notification to customers. I'd created multiple shipments allocated postage and got to the collection screen before I was surprised by the extra charge. The charge isn't the issue, I respect that business' have costs to cover, unfortunately Transglobal didn't respect that works both ways and customers would appreciate the chance to build the increased costing into their products and postage costs before they were introduced. Trust is such an important part of business relationships - Transglobal just lost mine

Staff assistance on the telephone was excellent when at the last minute a final destination deliver address correction had to be made and new transit labels came through within minutes Typical of the high standard of service Transglobal has provided me in the past
