I became aware of this company via Joe Wicks. I like to support small businesses as much as possible so I ordered their chocolate. It's delicious. Such wonderful and different flavours. Their chocolate is more expensive than mass produced shop bought chocolate but this is truly handmade chocolate with flavours you can't get anywhere else. I signed up for their subscription box which was a real treat. I had to contact customer service once when a mini bar was missing from my subscription and they replied straight away and replaced it with a full size bar. Excellent customer service. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because white chocolate features heavily in their subscription box and I'm not a fan of white chocolate. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Pulled in by the social media hype, I did a pre-order on 1 October (because it looked like the only way I could actually purchase some) and the chocolate arrived this week. You can see from the packaging that a lot of love and care goes into it and I'm happy to be able to support a small business. I did another pre-order in July as well for a smaller amount of bars. The chocolate is nice, and the bars I've tried so far, I've enjoyed (Golden Caramel, Baklava and Pistachio. Didn't love the Cherry one which is not on the website anymore). I did a bigger order now because I wanted to take some home for my family. I was quite disappointed to see that 2 of the bars have a 'best before' date of 11 December, which is less than a month away. They're the 2 Halloween edition chocolate bars. On the website it says the chocolate should have a minimum shelf life of 3 months... I get that I've pre-ordered and some of the bars will have been made a while ago, but sending me chocolate bars with a delivery date about two weeks after delivery is not what I expected. Would I do this again, wait 8 weeks for chocolate? Probably not.

Taste is beyond amazing, but the whole experience to order is so stressful. I even set an alarm 5 minute before restock and by the time I put the items in the basket, by the time I wanted to checkout, it was out of stock!! I felt so upset I messaged to the company on instagram how I feel and they ignored me. I wished for some words of support at least. These chocolates are great, but not that amazing to cause one self a stress with this whole ordering process. I believe they don’t care as they have enough business from the lucky ones who manage to order and don’t care about unsatisfied customers who barely get a chance to order.

Made out to be like winning the lottery when you actually manage to order from them. When you do get it, massive disappointment. The choc fudge bar was not much better than a rolo confectionery choolate. Gooey , sugary and without satisfaction. 13 pounds delivered for that. Just buy a box of lindt balls and pocket the 8 quid. This is hype sugar bars

This chocolate is so unbelievably good that Id be tempted not to review so that there isnt further risk of it selling out in seconds. Just gorgeous, try it.

you know it hurts to give them 5 stars. because this just makes it even harder for me to buy. in earnest, I've tried a few of their chocolates, and wow, the creativity and quality of the produce. if you indeed can appreciate artisan chocolate, which is funny and quirky and always innovating - this is for you. well done to the team. i hope you will make more.

I ordered three bars (Pistachio Cannoli, Gourmet Hazelnut and Baklava) on pre-order which arrived in the time expected. Considering the hype on social media I was expecting delicious chocolate but unfortunately, I was disappointed. All the bars were overpowering, too sweet and had a chemical taste and the chocolate itself was nothing special. It felt like there was far too much going on in the baklava bar and the hazelnut bar filling tasted odd and very chemically. The bars were slightly better straight from the fridge but unfortunately they were inedible at room temp. I struggled to finish them as I refused to throw them away at the price I paid. I am really sad to write this review as I love supporting small businesses but I wish I had read reviews like this before and wasn't blinded by the marketing and social media presence.

Just unbelievable that’s all I can say

I preordered two chocolate bars and I’ll be honest, there were points where I wondered if I was mad spending that much and waiting 6 weeks! BUT let me tell you, it was worth every second!! We had salted caramel brownie and coffee/stroopwaffle; both fillings were rich and delicious, the chocolate is lovely and as Geordie girl I absolutely love the scenes on the bar. Always amazing to see a small local business smashing it 🌟

Absolutely thrilled with our chocolate it tasted amazing! It arrived in perfect condition and beautifully wrapped . It was protected with bubble wrap and shredded paper . Can’t wait to order more !

I have been purchasing from the chocolate smiths for about a year now and can honestly say the bars have got better and better! The new mould levelled up the game for all of their bars and with the limited edition flavours they keep bringing out they just keep enticing me in! The chocolate is so good and yes it's not the cheapest but you really do get what you pay for and can tell each bar is made with love

We ordered the chocolate after stumbling across them online and I’m very happy with them! I have to say, I am very picky about chocolate and since I live in Norway, nothing usually beats norwegian chocolate but thechocolatesmiths did! Their chocolate is amazing, the different ingredients they put into the mix and how it all comes together is absolute art, tasteful art. The only minus is that the chocolates get’s more pricey because we live overseas but that won’t stop us from buying more! I highly recommend their chocolate!

Chocolate was nice but 2/5 bars arrived smashed. If you are charging premium prices for a premium product (5x bars was around £40 - so yes premium) you need to make sure that the product is being delivered in a manor that eliminates any damage. We emailed and got offer a 5% discount with absolutely no sincerity ‘basically nothing we can do about broken bars’. Disappointing as we thought we were buying from a ‘family’ brand and really wanted to buy more but just a shame in how it has been handled.

I was really excited to try these chocolate bars but I was disappointed. They are only okay and not worth the hassle of purchasing them. The chocolate tastes like advent calendar chocolate and the fillings only taste sweet, you can’t really tell what they are. It’s a shame as the idea is great and the packaging is amazing but I won’t be buying again.

I have been a regular customer for years. Their quality of chocolate and ingredients is amazing. The flavours even the ones I don’t usually like such as cinnamon, in the chocolate it’s just so tasty! The moulds are a massive improvement as it’s more tasty filling! And thicker. I always think I have a favourite until they release another bar and now I have about 4 favourites! I am looking forward to the next collab, hoping the Christmas snickerdoodle and the rocky road makes a return at some point! You guys are just the best

Absolutely delicious chocolate! managed to get my hands on 2 orders (yes there has been some failed attempts as you have to be quick!) but well worth the challenge and wait! highly recommend! and the lovely designed wrapping is on point 🫶🏼
