Pinwheel is an amazing company. Our family is very happy with the phone and the tech support is incredible. I am a structured person so I definitely like the Days, Modes, and Routines. I especially like the apps that are tools for learning and growth and without addictive social media or inappropriate websites. Now I can relax knowing that my children have a safe list of contacts and that I can monitor their activity from my own phone or caregiver portal. I have 9 children on Pinwheel phones and we (parents and children) are all delighted with this product.

I selected some apps from the app boutique that were not appearing on the phone. Reached out via chat to get help and Genn G. was with me over an hour fixing the issue. Really appreciated the time she took resolving the issues with the apps.

We needed our son to be able to get in touch with us in emergencies but we also didn't want to release the World Wide Web on him at such a young age. Pinwheel gives us peace of mind knowing that we can reach him and he can reach us when necessary, but he doesn't have access to content or material that is not age appropriate for him. We love that we can add apps and permit more freedom as he grows and becomes more responsible and aware. Also, the customer service is A M A Z I N G! The representatives are patient, understanding, and kind! I cannot say enough how much I appreciate this company and its employees for all they are doing to keep our kids connected and safe. Thank you, Pinwheel! Keep up the great work!

I canceled our subscription, canceled the phone order (confirmed with an email), was still charged for the phone! I never got a reply from my emails wondering where to send the phone back so I can get my money refunded. Horrible customer service.

Genn Garcia was absolutely not willing to give up helping our family get all the apps working on our new phones. She kept trying everything. She was very clear in her communication as we used the chat function to get help with non functioning apps or missing apps. With tech, crazy things can happen, so I knew I had to be patient as they also had to figure out why things weren’t working as they should. I was addressed politely and professionally, and appreciated her calm manner. Big thumbs up for customer support chat!! Thanks a million Genn!!

I was having trouble resetting my child’s password but the customer service agent was super helpful and helped me fix the problem. Pinwheel has the most amazing customer service! Super quick to respond and help!

Recently, the live location status feature was giving the incorrect location of my child’s pinwheel phone. I don’t ping the phone very often, but it is a valuable feature especially when my child is out and about on her own with friends biking, at the playground, around town etc. I have used the support chat service multiple times and they have always been extremely helpful & diligent. When the first few suggestions did not work, Ed consulted with his team and circled back with a solution that solved the problem! They have always been very patient, supportive, transparent, and helpful. Definitely worth the chat!

Pinwheel is awesome. Very secure and safe, while still looking cool and sleek. I love this phone for my tween and their customer service is fantastic too! Highly recommend.

I have changed my original review of this product/company. Ethan went above and beyond to assist in making sure I had a replacement phone sent. We are sticking with the phone and service for the time being. Still limited choices for the apps, however I appreciate that my son isnt glued to his phone. Original post: This phone isnt as user friendly as I thought it would be for my 9 year old and the app choices are limited for things that kids are interested in. The phone lasted about 6 months with very little use and wont hold a charge, and I bought the "rugged" version. I contacted customer service and their refund policy is only good for 30 days so they wont replace the phone without charging me another $249. My opinion, not a good policy for a product that is designed with children in mind. Would not recommend.

I am so grateful for the chat function to help me set up my Son's phone. The rep was able to help me customize the phone so it was optimal. This is our 1st Pinwheel phone as well as using Mint Mobile for the 1st time. But I feel like I can breathe easy knowing my 11 year old has some digital protection with his 1st smart phone.

I spoke with Ralph Guevarra, who was absolutely one of the top customer service people i have talked too. he was kind and helpful and quick to solve the problem. I have worked in retail for many years in my life and I must say they were incredible! you are lucky to have this employee! keep up the good work Ralph!

Any time I have had to reach out to Pinwheel's customer care team, I've had quick responses and my issue has always been solved. This is a new technology and it has had a few hiccups, but the team is always listening and implementing new things to help make things run smoother and easier for me and my kids.
