Find my past is first go to port of call whenever I am researching a person of interest. I really like their family tree builder.

After nearly 10 years of being a world member I still keep using fmp . This is mainly due to then news of recent updates especially newspapers.

Easy to use website. Company have made their staff available with wonderful podcasts and presentations throughout the Covid pandemic and still continue. I have enjoyed them all.

Great program. Great user experience. Would love to be able to view a tree in full across all the generations and be able to download a high quality pdf so that it could be printed in large format.

I find the Site is very Easy to Negotiate. I have found lots of Information that I previously did not know. Living away from the UK, this site has helped with my research so much over the many years I have been a member.

Find My Past continues to be your first stop for British genealogy research. Their collection of parish records is unsurpassed and should help to unlock clues to your family tree. Navigation on your tree is not as seamless as Ancestry and takes some getting used to. Hints are rated on a matching percentage and tend to be accurate at 90% or better. A great site all in all.

I wish when you move to the original record eg baptism record that that page would have a heading and year above register page because you forget the information on the cover page when you are searching through the handwritten records. Also I would like an email address to interact with a researcher who might direct me or explain some of the original record information.

So much to like. The hints are very useful - not always correct, but if a date is wrong for who I'm looking for the hint can point to another family member with the same name. Loving the 1939 register. Found my mother, mother in law etc, and in the case of females their married name is given so I know it's them. The register must have been used for those marrying during and after the war.

The site is easy to use and more informative than other sites.

Would love an easier way to add relatives from confirmed documents, for example if I come across a census record with an anscestors name on it, I would love it if any parents and siblings on it could be added easier. Also finding the hints page is a little difficult

I was surprised so much was free this weekend. I thought it was only military records as it was Remembrance Sunday. I was also able to search for non-military potential family members.

it always seems families follow a naming list, and so, too many families have the same names.

I really like the search function though I would like to add on any search especially when searching census records to be able to add place of birth when searching all records this is not an option at the moment.
