It was great when i first moved to findmypast but it done work on its site now It has been matching in the hints people of the same surnames but not always the forename, you are working on a branch of your tree then you press on the hint and all of a sudden you're at a completely different point in your tree. I moved from genesreunied because they were having problems. I really hope the technical staff can iron out the problems as it was a great site ,well that's my experience and I say it as it is

Full of useful hints and the link to other family trees is really helpful too. Response is ok to queries although could be quicker. Plenty of access to all kinds of records makes this the most comprehensive site to use.

I have been a member of FMP and two other similar sites.. I have found that when I become stuck on others..FMP comes to the rescue with the best Parish records.

An excellent site. Clear information and easily navigated. Often find records that sites like Ancestry can't find. The newspaper search has proved incredibly interesting and invaluable!

I was just charged by Find My Past for a year's subscription without my authorising it. They do not answer the phone number that is supposed to be active from 9-5 , Mon-Friday. I have emailed them.

Very frustrating the way you get several people for marriages

No mater how many family names I put in I get no information no good to me wasted my money 😤😒

I recently signed up for what I thought was a free trial. The way I interpreted the instructions was as follows: "sign up now, enjoy 2 weeks free while you wait for you subscription to start, and cancel at any time." The 'cancel at any time' was very misleading. FindMyPast charged my card the same day, and I could not cancel prior to the end of the 2 weeks "trial". I would not have cared too much, as I am serious about researching my ancestors, BUT I was very disappointed to find that FindMyPast did not, in fact, have more records than Family Search or Ancestry.

For the first time I was able to find court records (petty sessions) for an Irish family! Thanks!

I can find Birth. Marriage, Death and Baptismal records FOC on the National Library of Ireland website but not on your website. All you seem to have are Index listings. You don't have copies of the original census returns for 1901 or 1911 which I can also access FOC.

I am very disappointed that I cannot get more definitive information and to be able to see copies of original registrations (Birth, Marriage, Death) Without knowing all the details for other family member, I have no way of knowing if I have stumbled across the right discovery. The matches are too vague

The site is extremely buggy. Windows never load, it's constantly crashing. I get hints via e-mail, click on the link in the email to view the hint and the page never loads. I try looking for the hint they suggest manually and never find it. Really bad service, I'm not sure for how much longer I'm able to keep up my subscription as I only began it a week ago. Other than this great for baptism records, military and a few newspaper articles but that's about it so far.

I tried to access newspaper articles about my grandfather but could only get a few lines of each. Kept going to the page encouraging me to pay more money. So disappointed
