The coverage was good, work was completed. But the employee who came to our house was asking questions that made my wife very uncomfortable.

Electrician came to our house inspected our circuit breaker box. She took pictures and said she had to consult with your offices before she proceeded. That was over a week ago we have head nothing from her. Both our trash compactor and our garbage disposal do not work because both of those outlets have no power. Please advise.

I asked for furnace service for both of my furnaces and Dynamic HVAC came out and did a thorough job on both. The techs were knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful.

The have absolutely the worst contractors. Their contractors almost all have a 1 star review on Yelp. I have had to contact First American 4 times, and in all 4 got really bad contractors. First American refuses to allow other contractors even when the assigned person is non-communicative for 10 days after the issue was reported. Don't waste your money on this company. All they want is their premiums. They do not solve the problem.

There was zero communication to align me with the delivery. When I returned the call of the delivery team they had no idea who I was because all communication was with you. I spent almost 4 hours on the phone.

The knowledgeable serviceman quickly diagnosed and explained the issue I was having with my refrigerator. He ordered the necessary parts to correct the problem, and once they arrived, installed them in short order to bring the unit back up to speed. This was the first time I used First American and the experience was very satisfying. Good job!

Great Experience with their portfolio manager so far! I've been using FAHW for a few years. I have had a great experience with them. It will be even better if their coverage notification email can reference to the property location as you don't always remember which property they are talking about if you have multiple properties. But First American Home Warranty is the best so far comparing to all other warranty companies I used before.

HVAC was dripping (fairly uncostly fix cleared covered by the contract). First American Home Warranty sent an unprofessional HVAC contractor, who smudged my walls and did a very cursory pass on the HVAC system. What he did make sure to do was to fabricate a reason to deny the claim, which wasn't supported by either the photos he took nor the warranty contract. FAHW service drags its feet on resolution, only sending a second contractor for another opinion after a month and 4+ hours over the phone. Lord knows when we'll get to the repair stage.

If I could give no stars I would !! Avoid Avoid . I call them for HVAC tune up and now my AC is not working! When I told them the problem they said that I needed to pay $100 extra and make another appt . When I told them that because my health issues I can't be without AC they said that if I need it help that I could ask a neighbor !! What!!?? Update!! The e mail they send you to request you information dont work!! 0 stars ! Update number 2 ! Claim number: 620475100 Contractor: Bring The Cool Inc. Techician: Chris . We want our money back and our AC fix. Nereida Santana is my mom. Don't said that you can't locate my information. Also we want to cancel our contract.

They are awful.They use the most incompetent contractors. I was without a washing machine for more than 3 months. My built in microwave was taken apart, left with wires hanging. It took 6 weeks to get it repaired. Their plumber was going to tear up my driveway and charge me an additional $5500 only to find out after I got a second opinion, that there were NO pipes under my driveway. I will definitely not renew my contract. I have wasted so much time talking to their overseas representatives about these 3 issues that I will never get those hours back. My stress level is off the charts dealing with them. I'm so done with First American.

- Prompt assignment of technician. Dispatcher sent the same tech as another time thus knew of the refrigerator before arrival. - Knowledgeable tech who ordered the correct parts. - Quick approval of tech recommended parts. - Great communication.

The last three times I tried to put in a claim online my credit card did not come up. Just a header Add A Card. I had to call a customer service rep to complete the claim. They were able to submit and receive payment for the $85.00 because my credit card is active.

I have been a loyal customer since 2019 with First American. Since 2019 I have had at least 10-12 service requests for my air conditioner. For the past two years I have had to pay on top of my membership fee and service fee over $2,000 in out-of-pocket cost. These costs were to get my unit up to code and to remove old equipment from my property. When I renewed my membership in May 2024 I called and inquired about upgrading my plan to avoid future out of pocket costs. I was assured I would only be responsible for the service fee. Fast forward to today, October 2023, I am being told I have out of pocket costs of additional $2,000 to cover modification cost. I have spoken to over 10 people in different departments about my experience with little to no help in resolving. My ask was to upgrade me to the membership that would cover the modification costs since that is what I asked for when renewing my membership. I even asked if they would go back and listen to the call so they could hear what I actually asked for when I renewed. The last person I spoke to, John I, was the most rude person I have talked to to date. He basically called me a liar saying my membership was renewed automatically. However, this is not true b/c I upgraded my membership. When a membership is renewed automatically it doesn't upgrade you to a different membership with additional coverages and costs. Mr. John I. also scolded me by saying I have talked to multiple people who have told me the same thing and that I basically needed to just get over it. My ask was simple, listen to the recording and make this right. I hope I am able to update this review with something positive, but I shall not hold my breath. Long story short, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
