I contacted hotel direct this week to request twin beds to find no confirmation of booking. Gave the ID number to the hotel - they had nothing. Emailed company twice - NOTHING. AVOID AVOID AVOID Currently speaking with bank to report fraud!!!! DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

France | 08 May 2019bonjour GalaHotels sont des escrocs ! en novembre 2018 nous avons réservé 2 nuits à Las vegas (du 13 au 15 avril 2019). Arrivé à l’hôtel, nous avons découvert que la réservation avait été annulée en Décembre 2018. Naturellement nous n'avons pas été remboursé ! c'est honteux !! pour info, il semblerait que Vanilla tours soit la même escroquerie !!! (même adresse que galahotels en Turquie) merci de relayer ces infos au maximum afin d’arrêter les arnaques de ces sociétés !

United Kingdom | 07 May 2019We booked our London Hotel in 2018 for March 2019 through GalaHotels. We had confirmation from them and even had Galahotel protection! We arrived and no hotel had to quickly find another hotel so lost our £149. No apology nothing at all. I would have thought this was Fraud? Doesn't seem to be any protection against scams like this- guess this company are still trading even under another name!!! There should be a fund to reimburse holiday makers when unscrupulous companies pocket your hard earned money and deliver you nothing. Do not book.with this company and check that any future company has some kind of ABTA protection. In future I will try and book direct with the hotel it's not worth trying to save a few pounds to be scammed

United Kingdom | 03 May 2019I booked via Galahotels.com in May 2018 for a hotel booking in May 2019 and even confirmed with the hotel in June 2018 that they had a booking. Now I find the booking was cancelled by Gala in December 2018, they have taken my money, not made a refund, and not told me about the cancellation. I would advise anyone else to check that a booking exists in their name. I hope the Galahotels folk will now contact me because they do not reply to phone calls, or emails at either the UK or Turkish numbers.

United Kingdom | 29 April 2019They cancelled my hotel booking without telling me, no refund on my account, can get through on their number, emails are rejected, scam company, do not book with them, I am massively out of pocket. Confirmation voucher from gala hotels meant nothing, as when I arrived at my hotel in Croatia, not room available. They read cancellation from gala in dec 18, I booked and paid in Oct. currently trying to resolve with credit card company.

United Kingdom | 28 April 2019We stayed at the perfectly good (Amic) Gala hotel in Palma, Mallorca. But made the mistake of booking the room through Gala Hotels .com, who came up on the google search. Seemed reasonable! Turns out that Gala-Hotels.com are a completely different company, based in Turkey, and either useless or dishonest, - not sure which. So GH.com took our money and then we we reached the actual hotel they'd never heard of the booking. Reference number, print out of booking confirmation email etc are worthless, GH.com took the money but never booked our room with the hotel or anything. And of course the GH.com website doesn't work, and neither does their phone number. Glad we used a credit card - hoping to get a refund via that.

Portugal | 28 April 2019Antigamente funcionava bem cheguei a viajar várias vezes sem problemas, mas há relativamente pouco tempo começaram as burlas. o site ora está ativo ora está inativo....deve ser para enganar mais uns quantos. infelizmente também vi a minha reserva cancelada, não fiquei pendurada porque tenho por hábito enviar sempre um mail para o hotel uns dias antes e fui informada pelo hotel. Agora digam-me....como e onde nos queixamos?

Trouxeram-nos diversos transtornos, e tivemos que bancar um custo alto que não estava previsto, impedindo-nos de realizar todos os nossos planos de viagem!!! Estamos tentando contato pelos telefones da empresa e não conseguimos responta em nenhum número!!! Já enviamos e-mail solicitando uma resposta e o reembolso por e-mail e ninguém responde!! ESTAMOS NO AGUARDO DE UM RETORNO URGENTE PARA QUE POSSAM NOS REEMBOLSAR O PAGAMENTO INTEGRAL REALIZADO!!!

Germany | 21 April 2019Ich hatte schon im Februar 2018 ein Hotel in Berlin für 3 Nächte vom 28.12 - 31.12 2018 gebucht. Das Geld wurde sofort von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht. Im September rief ich beim Hotel an, und fragte nach, ob die Buchung vorläge. Die Buchung lag vor. Ich sagte hierbei auch, dass ich erst am 29. 12 frühmorgens einchecken würde. Das Zimmer war schon bezahlt. Zwei Tage vor Anreise rief ich noch einmal in dem Hotel an und fragte nach, ob die Reservierung vorläge. Hier hatte der Rezeptionist zuerst Schwierigkeiten meine Buchung zu finden. Er fand meine Buchung schließlich über den Namen meiner Mitreisenden, die wohlgemerkt einen seltenen Nachnamen und auch Vornamen hat. Allerdings war als zweite Person ein anderere Name -und nicht der meinige eingetragen. Ich war besogt. Ich wollte ja nicht anreisen und ohne Bett dastehen. Hier zerstreute der Rezeptionist meine Bedenken. Er erklärte mir, daß ich einfach nicht auf Anreise gesetzt wäre Er müßte mich einfach nur auf Anreise setzen. Als wir am 29. Dezember frühmorgens im Hotel standen hatten wir tatsächlich kein Zimmer. Da ich aber telefoniert hatte, gab ich mich mit dieser Auskunft nicht sofort zufrieden. Schließlich erhielt ich von dem Rezeptionisten dieser Nacht eine ausgedruckte Mail, in der meine Buchung vom 29.12 bis 31.12 storniert war ohne Begründung. Hierbei ist zu beachten, dass ich ja vom 28.12 -31.12 gebucht und bezahlt hatte. Als ich umgehend in das Portal von galahotel ging fand ich auch diese Stornierung vom 29.12- 31.12. Meine bezahlte Buchung vom 28.12-31.12 war zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht im Portal von galahotel zu finden. Da ich nicht wußte, wo der Fehler lag, verzichtete ich auf eine Anmietung eines Zimmers im Ivberg Hotel Neue Messe zu vergünstigen Raten. Als ich mich gegen Ende Januar 2019 im Portal von galahotel anmelden wollte, war das Portal nicht erreichbar. Im März 2019 war das Portal wieder erreichbar. Hier war nun meine Buchung vom 28.12-31.12 zu finden. Fazit: galahotel Portal nie wieder!!

France | 20 April 2019arnaque et site inactif un de plus , voyage a Prague en mai 400 euros aucune réservation d' effectuée mais argent pris sur carte . Aucune info ni mail. procedure a faire notamment sur le portail européen des arnaques car en Turquie le droit europeen ne sapplique pas.

Switzerland | 17 April 2019On arrival at the hotel we've been informed that Gala Hotels has canceled our bookings and so we had to pay again at the hotel front desk. Gala was not reachable (phone, mail etc). They just generate standard mail replies when using the customer care portal. Our credit card provider has returned the money in the meantime.

United Kingdom | 16 April 2019I booked and paid for My all inclusive hotel in Aug 2018, for my vacation at the beginning of April. We got to the hotel, to be told that Gala Hotels had cancelled our booking on 18th Dec? We had received no notification from Gala Hotels, and my booking on their website still showed as confirmed? Sadly we had to pay for our accommodation again, at a greatly increased rate! We tried numerous times to contact Gala Hotels, but their phone was constantly engaged. We arrived back to the UK on 7th Apr, and our booking was still in their systems, but when I checked on 8th Apr, everything had been wiped from my account page. Thankfully I’d copied all notifications from Gala Hotels, and my claim is now in the hands of my credit card company. I cannot possibly write, what I think of Gala Hotels. It is shameful that so many folk have been parted with their hard earned cash, which is a fraudulent act. I’m just grateful that our hotel had a spare room, as we were ‘out in the sticks’ so the chance of another hotel would have been impossible. Gala, I hope you rot in hell, and Karma catches up with you.

Is there any police anywer? .I booked a hotel 30th of December and they took the money from my card straight away. I cancelled 3 days later for personal reasons. Still no refund. I tried to contact. IMPOSSIBLE. I tried through my bank to get my 750eu. All this time I tried to contact all I get is automatic answers they work on my case. I have received about 300 messages .

United Kingdom | 15 April 2019SCAM I booked a hotel in Lisbon for tomorrow for our Easter break with my kids. The hotel was booked in October 2018. Yesterday I logged in the website to check my booking and everything was fine. Today I logged again and my password didn't work. I tried to contact galahotels and the line was dead. I called my hotel and they told me my booking was cancelled in December. 12 hours before flying I realized we were scammed and didn't have a hotel to stay. I called my bank and they will refund the 600£ I paid. Avoid this website. I am not sure how they still can operate online with so many people that have been scammed
