Gala Hotels is the online booking arm of Leonardo Travel and Bernardo Travel Istanbul Turkey which are bankrupt. They have failed to pay the hotel wholesalers, usually Infinite Hotels (Accor subsidiary) who have had no alternative than to cancel the bookings as they are made by them on behalf of Gala and many other online booking agents. They also told me that they would do the same if any other Travel Retailers also failed to pay them. Infinite Hotels told me that they had not been paid and that Leonardo/Bernardo Travel were broke so that is why my booking was cancelled. I have booked with Gala since 2009 more than 80 nights and never had any problems or cancellations over this period.

Booked a one night stay at Hilton Paris CDG for the 23rd Feb 2019 cost £93. Booking was made on 3rd Dec 2018 and payment made and booking was cancelled on 22 dec 2018 by Gala without making contact or refunding money. A cursory check with Hilton the night before I travelled showed that they had no trace of my booking and I ended up having to book a suite directly with Hilton for 150 euros . I have now contacted them for a refund and awaiting a reply but not hopeful. Next stop credit card company. So surprised hotels like Hilton are allowing themselves to be associated with this company.

Le site GALAHOTELS est une ARNAQUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! En octobre, j'ai réservé mon séjour à Marrakech du 6 au 13 février avec eux. Arrivée sur place, j'ai eu la mauvaise surprise d'apprendre qu'il n'y avait pas de réservation à mon nom et plus de place au riad ! J'ai du me loger ailleurs et payer à nouveau mon séjour !!!! Ils ne répondent ni à mes appels ni à mes messages de demandes de remboursement. Surtout ne réservez pas avec eux !

Cuando llegas al Hotel, DESASTRE, si bien tuvieron una reserva a tu nombre esta fue cancelada hace 6 semanas. Logicamente no te informan porque es su forma de robarte el dinero. En ingles, alemán y en español he leído que es una estafa nivel mundial. Extraña que VISA acepte seguir dándoles facilidades de cobro. NO HAGAIS RESERVAS CON ESTA GENTUZA.

Sadly this is a total fraud and scam website. They even call you back to know why didn't you complete the booking process if you begin the process but interrupt it. They then convince you to book with them, and once you have you fall in their trap! They go through many different facade agents, who operate on their behalf and book the selected hotels, only to cancel those same bookings few days after. They never book directly and go through a chain of intermediaries who book with no payment. I got taken for almost 1000€ in December and had to cancel my family vacations. No recourse is possible despite lodging an official complaint since they're out of the EU. Someone needs to sue them in Turkey directly. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. THEY ARE A SCAM! REPORT THEM!

The booking process this group participates in is illegal and people are getting ripped off all the time, unfortunately myself now included. I booked through booking.com which was my first mistake, as I always use Priceline or Hotwire. On the booking.com site, there was a link to Galahotels.com and I booked this hotel through that site. I got a confirmation #, the money was taken from my bank, and I was all set. I called Hotel Pennsylvania two days before the reservation to make sure I was set and they told me Galahotels canceled the reservation. This began a chain of debauchery. Galahotels played dumb, Hotel Pennsylvania played dumb, and booking.com played dumb. I was ripped off my $$$, nobody will take responsibility, and I will make sure all three parties will be outed here, everywhere, and with the Better Business Bureau, as a crime has been committed along with ridiculously unethical behavior. Go with Hotwire or Priceline. I've never been done wrong with them.

Cercando un hotel specifico mi si è aperta la loro pagina ed ho prenotato. Essendo la prenotazione cancellabile con penale 30 € l'ho annullata. Ai numeri di telefono non rispondono e nemmeno alla apertura del caso nel loro sito dal 09/01 senza alcun feedback! Mi hanno addebitato 120 € anzichè 30 €!

I have just clicked on to there website and it seems you can still book a Hotel room through them. But DON'T they will rip you off, I am still trying to get hold of them regarding my booking where they took my money and cancelled my booking. DON'T USE THEM.....

Scam website.After arriving at the hotel i was told my booking had been cancelled .No answer from the telephone number on my paperwork .NEVER use this scam company.

They are a fraud. They have a pattern of fraud operation that works like: 1. reserve and charge your card 2. never send payment to the hotel 3. you arrive at the hotel and no reservation and have to pay to the hotel directly, you may assume that galahotels.com never charged you because often times, charge won't occur until you check in. 4. you forget to check your credit card transactions and you actually have paid twice for your hotel stay. 5. even if you discover there is duplicate charge and you file a dispute, galahotels will not admit it, refuse to refund and delay the dispute process. They are a PAIN. I don't understand why they can be in business.

Fraudsters! I booked a night at the Novotel Suvamarnbhumi Bangkok via the Galahotels website. This was paid for on my mastercard. I arrived at the Novotel 6 weeks later and told that my reservation was cancelled by galahotels only 2 days after my booking. My credit card was charged and I received no refund! This is a criminal organisation running this website. I notice on my reservation they are located in Istanbul, Turkey. DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!

Attention, ne plus réserver sur Gala Hotel, c'est un site de bandits, je me suis fais escroquée lors de mon sejour à Tenerife du 12 au 19 février 2019 , ils n ont pas payé l'hôtel alors que nous avions réglé par carte en octobre 2018, on a du se reloger sur place, un vrai cauchemar . Ils ne répondent pas au courriels, on a demandé un remboursement mais aucune nouvelle, on a contacté la répression des fraudes...Ne jamais commander sur leur site svp si vous ne voulez pas vous faire avoir...

I have been a Fraud investigator for over 30 years and never thought I would be victim of a scam, but Gala Hotels have managed it. Booked a hotel back in November 2018 in Thailand for one night near the airport for our last night before flying home. When we got there we were told the booking had been cancelled on 18th December. My online account with Gala showed it was still booked and I sent a message and they said they were looking into matters after I had had to book another room at nearly £70. Can't phone them and nothing back from them. Will report to Action Fraud, but clearly no chance of getting my money back. DO NOT USE THESE FRAUDSTERS

Never trust Galahotels, this website is a shame. I had canceled two bookings far before the deadline and have never been refunded yet and the sole booking I kept has finally been cancelled too without any prior notification and I am still waiting to have my money back. These people are absolute fraudsters, beware.

Bandieten ... hoop dat onze kaartmaatschappij deze personen achter de site een lesje leert, en hen brengt waar ze horen ... achter de tralies. Boeking gedaan en betaald, maar bij het arriveren in New York was er niks voor ons geboekt. GalaHotels.com was zelfs niet te contacteren op het telefoon nummer. Het hotel kende GalaHotels zelfs niet als agency, maar ons geld was wel al vliegen ...hebben alles opnieuw moeten boeken in het hotel, terwijl we alles al een keer betaald hadden .... kostelijke bedoeling!!! Mail gedaan om ons geld terug te krijgen, deze kwam zelfs niet aan ... we kregen een bevestiging dat onze mail geweigerd werd door de organisatie ... voor alle zekerheid onze kaart geblokkeerd via cardstop ... deze bandieten ga ik zeker niet meer aan mijn kaart laten komen of mijn gegevens. Ze hebben alles behalve goede bedoeligen!

ho prenotato 5 notti per 4 persone a Maria La Gorda Hotel Cuba in ottobre 2018 per febbraio 2019. pagando 1044 euro. In dicembre hanno cancellato la prenotazione senza alcuna ragione e senza avvertirmi. Ho dovuto pagare di nuovo l'Hotel e ora non rispondono alle mie mail. Sono truffatori. li denuncerò. F. Venanzi

ESTAFADORES...... te cobran al. momento de la reserva y cuando llegas al hotel no hay reserva porque la anulan y no te avisan ni te devuelven el dinero me paso en un hotel en cuba tuve k volver a pagar para poder pasar la noche... no reserveis nada con ellos porque acavareis como yo denunciando por estafa a gran escala.
