DUMBO was fantastic!! From start to finish! Alexander was my relocation specialist for at least 5 moves and he was so kind and totally professional. I can't recommend Alexander or Dumbo enough!

I’ve used Dumbo Moving for all of my moves around NYC - it’s always been stress free, which is a lot to say for moving around this crazy, busy city! I’ve recommended them to everyone I know that moves, and everyone has had great experiences!

This was the first time I was moving within NYC. The service was superb and perfectly on time. The customer care service was prompt. The price was reasonable and there was also room for negotiations which I liked very much. The two moving guys were awesome, extremely hardworking and friendly. Overall, this was an amazing and pleasant moving experience for me. Highly recommended.

The moving team was timely, worked timely and efficiently. Handled all the furniture and other pieces with a great amount of care. Everything arrived in tip-top shape. The office team was also very helpful and cooperative. Overall, an excellent experience and would use Dumo again.

I scheduled a move from a third floor walk up to a first floor building. The movers insisted that there was an extra charge for the stairs despite it having been noted (and charged) in my receipt. He then said that they’d forgive the extra cost if I tipped them $100. Which sounded like a scam, and was also just dumb because they were going to be tipped that anyways (and they were). They didn’t break any of my dishes which was a relief, but they did mess up some of my boxes, and they also left my mattress on the sidewalk for about 10 minutes while they grabbed other things. They also smoked in the van, despite me telling them I had asthma. At least they rolled the windows down? Anyways, would not recommend them. I used Piece of Cake last time and it was a higher quote ($100 dollar difference), but I guess you get what you pay for.

Dumbo Moving moved my daughter from her Manhattan walk up apartment to a Brooklyn walk up apartment. They were punctual, courteous, helpful and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure things were done quickly and safely. The whole move was seamless. They were also very reasonably priced! We could not be happier.

Such a seamless moving experience. I have moved so many times & this by far was my best experience. The team was quick, professional, and efficient. My last move with a different company took hours longer and they had double the movers! I heard about DUMBO from a couple of friends that also had great experiences. My recommendation to anyone who wants an easy move at a fair price!

the driver and helper were on time. they were experienced movers. wraped furniture extremely well loaded it onto their truck and delivered it to the next location. very efficient team. I was in the moving Buisness 40 years ago and this was a good team. much better than I expected and would use them again.

Wonderful experience. They showed up on time, got everything packed up, moved from Washington heights to Brooklyn and unpacked everything in 5 hours! Amazing! And no broken dishes or furniture

Moving can be a hassle, but the folks at Dumbo Moving really make a difference. Their customer service is top-notch and their movers are fast, friendly, and considerate.

The movers were great, handled my belongings with care, and were timely. My only complaint is that the company itself has a lot of hidden fees, and I was pushed to tip more than I was planning to by the movers.

Stay away from this company. They are thieves and unprofessional. Let me start from the beginning. The movers tried to bully me into giving them a 10% tip which was $800. When I refused they were taking my things off of the truck. Mendel told me it would be $160 for storage. With the first month free. I signed those DocuSign to pay $160 they charged my card $1,088. I called and the supervisor tells me that’s how much the storage is. I explained that is not what Mendall told me. He basically said too bad. So now they have all of my things. I can’t afford $1.000 in storage per month plus the $3,000 to have the items delivered. Beware stay away. Very rude, unprofessional and no integrity. Mendel told me he would call me back. However I haven’t yet received a callback yet

Dumbo Moving does a great job and I recommend them to anyone. They seamlessly moved me from Brooklyn to Greenwich Village last year. The movers were friendly and hardworking, and everyone I have spoken to in the office is great. Absolutely recommend.
