OK but most other sites don't charge delivery for samples...

You feel like they've scammed you before you even order. I ordered six "free" samples as I really wanted to see the flooring options available. The "free" samples came with a £15 postage fee. As I was in a rush on a project, I reluctantly paid the fee. The flooring arrived, not in a great state, in a second class envelope costing just over £3. I contacted Floors Direct for an explanation but heard nothing back. It feels as if you have been ripped off before even placing an order. Given the state the samples arrived in, too, as well as complete lack of response from the company I don't wish to place an order but they sent me an email asking me to review them, so I have.

No longer working? I was going to leave a negative detailed report since they promised to send me some samples, having told me they no longer sell the colour flooring I bought some time ago. I checked their website, to ensure I had the right place and found thier webpage/company is for sale! I wish they had not promised to send me samples when the workmen ar starting on Monday - I could have looked elsewhere.

Lovely flooring good price would have given5 stars but anything that has to go back you have to make arrangements yourself which is hard to do if it's beading

Unfortunately not a nice experience, right the opposite. I tried to get in touch regarding, first, a purchase of laminate flooring wrongly calculated from my card: the advert on the website promote free delivery for a certain quantity, the basket confirms that when doing checkout but the invoice and the charges are different and don`t apply the discount. Nobody ever got back to me to explain the error, or to clarify, despite multiple attempts to talk to anybody. Despite that I received after a few days an email suggesting that the product was discontinued and offering to choose another product or refund. I opted for a refund, being a week and nothing happened. The charge was applied on my card and even received emails asking how the product was (but never received it), tried again to get in touch with somebody but not ever an answer. Luckly I was suspicious of the website since the beginning (the ebay review are not from clients but from sellers, apparently whoever runs the activity uses the ebay account to purchase personal things on ebay, getting feedback that are promoted as related to the activity of this website but they are not). I opted for a payment with American Express credit card, and the only way to get my money was to raise a case with them and show them the emails and the absence of replies, so I got refunded by American Express instead. Not sure what`s wrong with this website, maybe is a scam website developed to steal money from fake orders (the flooring classified as discontinued was sold by another website and I got it within a week). Best to avoid yourself problems and opt to purchase elsewhere.

I found this website after doing a quick search plenty to choose from. Ordered the floor and it was delivered a few days later. Great service and happy with the laminate flooring.
