Blue Ridge staff did a great job communicating the details of my stay and were available when I had a question or two about the VRBO property

They were very responsive: had a water pressure issue and quickly had plumber to the property. Was a city issue, not house. Only issue was not informed of a narrow spiral staircase case between levels. Was difficult to maneuver and our pet had to be carried up and down. Not easy for me as well.

Decoys Nest is a special, happy house…who knew that hummingbirds chirp…and they do! Great kitchen, clear usage instructions….totally comfortable…except the garbage! The Mama bear with two cubs destroyed the garbage container, so we NEVER put garbage out.We made sure The Rental agency had pick up service. Bedrooms and bathrooms are excellent, but we enjoyed the outdoors most of all! We lived on the porch with amazing views, and turkeys, deer, and above mentioned …. Temperatures were divine. A wonderful unique experience.

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was great to work with. The communication and response time was exceptional. I had a couple of small things to communicate regarding the property and received immediate response offering to address any issues. We had a wonderful stay and will be using Blue Eidge Mountain Rentals again in the future.

Loved the house and being surrounded by the forest. Loved the new kitchen appliances and the most comfortable mattresses I have ever experienced.

The views of Lookout Lodge were unbelievable. House was very nice. The beds were a little uncomfortable but not a showstopper at all. Overall it was a very nice place and we will be back.

Great trip with friends. Very comfortable accommodations and the views were wonderful. Nice grill and kitchen was well furnished for cooking. The bedrooms had great window covering.

This home shares a road with only one other home. The surrounding woods are full or hardwoods and rhododendrons. It’s truly a beautiful setting. The rental was nicely decorated and clean. My family had a lovey stay and would absolutely rent Walk in the Clouds again. Nancy

I stayed at Linville River Cottage #26, managed by Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. It was a wonderful three days! The cottage was pristine-clean, cozy, and well-equipped. A nice treat awaited me when I arrived. Sitting on the porch and looking out over the river with the forest on the other side was a highlight. The staff were very responsive when I had questions. I'll be back!

The home was very nice, brand new, and it was great for our needs. It also have nice views. We would have liked some hangers in the closet and/or drawers to put our clothes in. But it was not a problem for only 3 nights. The property is on a dirt road and the neighborhood is under construction so it is a lot of dirt and mud around. Not much for walking. It was not a problem for us because we were not at the house much only to change and sleep. We would rent again.

This is a great cabin. Everything was as promised

Hook wine and sinker was in a great location. Close to everything we wanted to see. Perfect lodge in great condition and the community is close and staff are helpful. We will return at some point.

Three adults stayed in Blue Creek Cabin-Eagles Nest NC for 10 days in Aug 2024. The Cabin was in great shape, clean and ready for our visit. We had an issue with a coffee pot..,it was easy to reach someone and the issue was resolved quickly.it was a great experience.

We have rented with Blue Ridge before and both times we had a great experience. While both times we have rented we did have issues with a code (the first time to the front door, the second time to a gate), the company was able to resolve the issue quickly for us even though we were arriving very late both times. Love their rentals and will continue to use them in the future!

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was excellent in communication and responded within 30 min to texts (even at 9 PM). They also provided water and a yummy granola mix as a welcome. It's the little things! As far as improving: The cabin we stayed at looked clean; however, there was a stain on one of the cloth chairs and a sticky substance on the arm rest of the couch. If I was an owner, I would want these cleaned (they would be easily cleaned with a spot remover and just wiping off the leather arm rest). There was also a fuzz on the floor in the bathroom and when I went to pick it up with a Kleenex, a bunch of hair came up as well. Thus, some attention/training to fully cleaning the property is warranted.

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals goes above and beyond my expectations. We've used them off and on for years, and will continue to do so. Very responsive, helpful, all the good things! I even lost a sentimental bracelet in the cabin, the housekeeper found it, and they mailed it to me! As I said, above and beyond!!

The directions were perfect, the cabin was spotless and met all of our expectations. Spent a good deal of our time on the deck as well as strolling through West Jefferson. Owner checked in several times which was most appreciated. Beautiful cabin!!

House is in a great location between Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, with nice amenities of pool, tennis courts and basketball across the street. Great to walk dogs around the park and neighborhood. Recommend the house gets a deep cleaning, clean the carpets, and paint the decks. This would enhance the stayers experience.
