The Blue Ridge Team makes renting a house an absolute pleasure. The Team is responsive and helpful. It’s my third rental from Blue Ridge. I wouldn’t use any other agency in this region.

Great getaway. The folks at Blue Ridge were excellent in every respect.

We had a broken chair that we called in to get it fixed on the first day there. Eleven days later it still wasn’t fixed. All it needed was four bolts and nuts. The condo we rented was great. BRMR not so good.

Our stay at mountain tranquility was exceptional. The house and property are beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook many meals and relax on the deck to eat them. Evenings were especially lovely sitting watching the sunset. We loved sitting by the large windows drinking our coffee and watching the clouds disappear with the sun. The bedrooms are well equipped with great pillows and extra blankets if needed. Great hot water and pressure in the showers. Our grandchildren visited and had a grand time in the play area downstairs. Even the dog had a good time walking through the neighborhood every morning and evening with me. Blue ridge was very responsive to our only complaint of a yellow jacket nest as it was taken care of immediately. Mountain Tranquility is exactly that a tranquil spot in the mountains. We would definitely return. Great location near to lots of activities in the area.

Teddy Bear’s Retreat in Eagles Nest was a wonderful house. This is our third time staying in Eagles Nest and we have stayed in 3 different houses. Our family, daughter, son-in-law, 10 year old grandson and 7 year old granddaughter enjoyed the house very much. It has become our tradition to come the week before school starts. I would recommend this house for a family such as ours.

The Lodge was beautiful and it provided the perfect place to spend time with family and enjoy the weekend for our daughters wedding

Great experience. Everyone was easy to work with and responsive to any questions we had. Clear instructions on entry, property description, etc.

Location, the house was nice but we had no washer.

Huge wow factor at BRMC! Views for days and wonderful amenities just a few feet outside our rental. Close enough to Blowing Rock (town center) to get in and out if needed or just stay and relax here. Can’t go wrong with either!

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this home. The layout was perfect for our large family group with spaces to both hang out together and spread out when needed. The location was really convenient for enjoying Banner Elk as well as easy access to other attractions in the area. The company was very responsive and quick when we had a small issue with getting in to the home.

Stayed at NaturesBlessings for 5 nights. Accommodations were nice. Made several inquiries regarding non-functional wifi but never got satisfactory resolution.

Boulder Sky was a lovely home and perfect for our mini-family reunion. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms, and the gathering area and open kitchen made it perfect for continuing to share time. We also enjoyed being out on the deck and at the fire pit area We called Blue Ridge about 3 issues on the first evening and someone arrived the next day to address them. One was the under-counter lighting that did not work and they were clear about how that would need to be approved by the owners so may not get repaired while we were there. The other 2 were fixed right away. Our experience both at the home and with Blue Ridge was great.

This is a great company to stay with. They are great to work with and they have the best hospitality. We will definitely continue to stay with them when we take our mountain getaways!

The view from the deck of this house is INCREDIBLE. It was our favorite feature by a mile. We had plenty of space for our large family and we enjoyed the location because of its great proximity to Boone, Blowing Rock and the Parkway. We loved spending time together in the open great room/dining/kitchen area while taking in the view. We were thankful to be able to have our dogs along with us. The house definitely shows some of the wear and tear of being a rental. Paint is scuffed and worn, drawers falling out, a couple of curtain/towel rods were falling, etc. We were informed before arrival that the unit's refrigerator wasn't working. Thankfully, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals had a temporary replacement there before check-in. It did mean that we didn't have water/ice in the fridge for our whole stay. For us, the biggest negative was the driveway. It was actually quite treacherous for our vehicles to navigate (big drop off from washout). We worried each time we came/went that we were damaging our cars. I reached out to the office on the first day to express my concern but never heard back. It would have helped to be able to park in the garage (and not have to back out of the driveway), but the garage door wasn't functional...and my question about that wasn't answered, either. All in all, we enjoyed our time and made some wonderful memories. We've been staying rental houses in the area for twenty years. This one is near the top in terms of view and location, but it leaves a little to be desired in other aspects.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we had an amazing time. The place is top notch. The views speak for themselves. We went to Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn, and Boone. You are literally just off the parkway. The driveway is steep and we had 4WD and would suggest that year round. The WiFi is listed as “not good for streaming” but we were able to. T-Mobile did not work here unless connected to the WiFi (we expected this) but Verizon had service. The first night we were here we were already talking about coming back. Thank you for sharing your slice of Heaven with us.

This is our second year in blowing rock and rested travler is an outstanding home clean great amenities and the owners care about their home we stayed 47 days and have booked next year again here

We arrived on Saturday night 8/3 to find the garage smelling from the garbage of the prior renter that was never picked up (to their credit, they did pick up the garbage late on Sunday after notifying them) None of the blinds on the upstairs master would stay open. Always in the down position Several blinds throughout the house had large stains on them The pond from and indoor waterfall in the lower level had stagnant water in it The interior door handle to the garage wasn’t working and would lock you out The washer would leak on the floor and we had an error code one day The BBQ grill griddle was not clean The master shower on the top floor would leak onto the floor level below, especially if you used the hand held shower head I had no hot water in the downstairs shower on our departure day Other than sending a maintenance person to take a look at all our concerns and jotting down notes, nothing was done. Most disappointing of all, other than a brief call from “Joanie” to discuss our emails concerning the above during our stay, and a call from “Nick” the day after we left to apologize, nothing has ever been done. We’ve been staying at BRMR properties for years, and we have never seen anything like this. We will not be coming back.
