Everything at the cabin was perfect! the kitchen was well stocked there wasn't anything we needed that they didnt have! The bathrooms are roomy and so well planned out! We loved the bedrooms and the beds were perfect! The game room that was mixed witht he bedroom and bath down stairs was the best idea we have ever experienced. Our stay was to short and will surely return again. the level yard was perfect and the firepit was a true highlight of our stay as well! The porch off of the kitchen was so relaxing and we made some great memories sitting there with our family! We didn't want to leave because everything was so nice and well decorated made us truly fell at home! Can not wait to return to this amazing cabin! The check in was so easy.

After our Vacasa VRBO canceled on us while we were driving to our destination, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals staff spent a great deal of time on the phone with us finding us a great place that we were able to get in immediately.

5 stars with exceptions (scroll down)! This home was tastefully decorated, had a well-stocked kitchen (bring your own salt/pepper, etc), spacious bathrooms, and great views! It was quiet and nestled in a lush, wooded area. The creek sounds were lovely! Easy access to both Boone and Blowing Rock (about 15 minutes from each). If the gate code doesn't work, use the code given for home entry. Exceptions: 1-the stairway to the creek is in pretty poor condition. I would not let my kids go down it without a lot of assistance. Replacement steps and handrail are very necessary. I was looking forward to taking my coffee and journal down every morning but it was too precarious. 2-the basement/lower level was very damp and smelled musty/moldy. It did rain the whole week we were there. There is a humidifier that guests will need to turn on and empty. Home not recommended for someone with auto-immune issues. 3-home not recommended for crawlers-4 year olds. Lots of sharp corners and stairways without gates.

The property views are awesome. The home was very comfortable for 8 adults and 3 children. We did see a bear on the property two of the seven days we stayed. We kept our distance and the bear went away with no problems. Things we enjoyed, hiking, playground for kids, disc golf, Linville Falls Winery, Grandfather mountain, Mast General Store. Many attractions for kids, Tweetsie railroad, petting farms, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster.

We have been long-time renters with BRMR, renting with them for over 10 years. In the last few years, the customer service, maintenance and cleanliness issues, and overall experience have just progressively worsened. Our last two experiences have been nothing short of terrible. As short-term rental owners ourselves, we understand that things can go wrong, in and out of your control. The experience we have had the last two times have been issues well within their control and they did little to nothing to remedy the issues. This last time, we were notified that we could arrive at 12pm for an early check in. We show up with our one year old twins at nap time and are locked out for over 2 hours. No one answered the phone for over 2 hours to let us in! Once we were finally let in, we noticed the house had not been cleaned and two of the toilets were broken. Over the next several days of our stay, we experienced a broken and leaking refrigerator, smoke detectors going off for hours (before my husband climbed up and removed them from the ceiling), and water leaking from the ceiling onto the couch. Oh, this couch was also broken right down the middle, sagging to the floor. All of these issues were brought to their attention and they offered us $200 as a refund. We paid nearly $4,000 to stay there, so $200 wasn’t even the tax on this amount. Nor was it even enough to reimburse the cleaning fee we paid to stay in an unclean house. I am so disappointed and embarrassed that we brought a group of friends and their kids to stay with us in such a bad situation. We will never rent with them again, which is also really disappointing following so much history.

Five stars for the cleanliness, comfortable beds, overall floor plan, and most of all the peace and quiet experienced on the cabin deck. In addition, the complimentary access to the Community Clubhouse was a surprising and much appreciated amenity, with the vistas from the deck absolutely beautiful! All this at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful View. Home was just as it was presented in the listing. The only suggestion is that you warn people that there are a lot of switch backs when driving on the roads within Eagles Nest.

House was not as advertised regarding bathrooms. There were not two full bathrooms with tub/ shower combos. Refrigerator was not working properly. Television was not set up when we arrived. Mattresses were terrible. View was excellent and the hot tub worked, but overall experience was mediocre. I would not stay at this house again. I will give the rental company another chance, but inaccurate description is highly problematic.

I am in LOVE with this rental. It was perfect and more than I expected. Great location and the hot tub and fire pit were so relaxing. The house is adorable, and I will definitely return to this rental again.
