I've only ever had to make a claim once, so I was a complete novice. When making my claim I found the website initially difficult to use because the options seemed to assume prior experience/knowledge of making a claim. But I muddled my way through and hoped for the best, thankfully I ticked the right boxes and clicked the right buttons. From that point 4Paws were excellent they liaised with the Vet and handled everything for me, whilst keeping me informed and up-to-date with what was going on. Would have been a 5 star review if the website had better narrative/help, but this is an easy fix. When your dog has cancer you don't also want to be worrying that you've clicked on the wrong button and caused a 2 week delay whilst the paperwork gets straightened out. Thankfully, my dog is OK now and making a full recovery.

Although we pay a substantial premium and have done so, increasing every year, for some years when we claim it’s not covered. It’s a pre-existing ailment. It’s an ear infection that is costing over £300. The 4paws insurance is not worth it!

There was no problems letting the payment for our dogs treatment go direct to the vets.
