Pleased with the time taken to pay claim as well as communication throughout

When making a claim I was well informed of how to proceed by the staff who were very sympathetic and understanding. Easy, no fuss and prompt settlement.

I dreaded having to claim on the insurance, as I was sure that my rabbit's emergency problem wouldn't be covered due to some loophole, but I was amazed to find that it was in fact covered and the whole process was very simple, and the payout very quick. It made a very stressful situation a little easier.

Ive used 4paws pet insurance for a few years now, and have unfortunately had to make a claim on 2 or 3 occasions.. Each time I have found it quite simple.. And would recommend 4paws to anyone who wants insurance at a reasonable price. No negatives..

I have not made a claim for the 1st 9 years of my pets life but in the last 6 months have had to make a few due to his failing health. My experience in claiming for treatment has been extremely positive, my claims have been processed quickly and this has helped me so much at a time of anxiety for my pet.

Poor experience in terms of settling claim. Quick to find an excuse not to pay out. Required intervention from Vet and escalation to be resolved. Experience was one of exploring every loophole to find a reason why they couldn’t pay.

They are very easy to deal with. Claims settled within 3 weeks. Claims can be emailed straight from Vet. Kept up to date with progress of claim. I think they are reasonably priced. Dog is now 12 been with them 5 years. Unfortunately having to claim now but satisfied they are good value.

Recently I made a claim as to my dogs newly diagnosed thyroid problem. Insurance claim went through and I was paid very quickly.

We have our Cavalier King Charles spaniel insured with a Lifetime policy. Sadly this breed can suffer as they age which is what we have found. The company has been great and supported us with all our claims to date, with no astronomical rise as yet in our premiums to give them credit.

Very disappointed with the email I’ve just got. When I got my puppy in 2020 within the first few days of having him home he had diarrhoea. I took him to the vet to get him treated and I knew I couldn’t claim for it as it was in the first 14 days. Roll on 2 years he had diarrhoea over Christmas and I had to get him treated to find out today he’s not covered. I could understand if it were entropion cancer or fits but diarrhoea is something you get through out having a dog. Also they put up his premiums as he’d just gone over 20kg he’s now 17kg as I changed his diet and they said he has to stay in the more expensive category. Fast to increase my payments but reluctant to reduce them.

Excellent customer service. They answered all my questions in a very professional and prompt manner. Communication is excellent too. They keep you up-to-date on insurance claims.

All sorted out without me needing to get involved just the insurance company and the vets.

Our dog became very ill and needed an operation to remove his gall bladder. The insurance paid out direct to the vets within a couple of weeks.
