I received a text to say they had received the claim and then another to confirm the itemised settlement. Very pleased and have renewed for another year!

The first one took months before they finally decided to pay it and the last one we have just put in has had deductions taken off that have never been deducted before, there doesn’t seem to be any consistency.

United Kingdom | 15 July 2022Took my KC Cavalier to the vets recently and after so many tests and medication she had to have her Spleen removed, I rang 4 Paws Pet insurance up explained to them what was happening they sent me a link to print off the claim forms, the vet filled them out sent them off and 4 Paws settled with the Vets without any issues, I would recommend using them to family and friends.

United Kingdom | 24 June 2022I can honestly say this is the worst Insurance company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I had insurance with them for nearly 4 years without making a claim. When my gorgeous little Yorkie needed treatment & surgery I put a claim in. That was November 2021. They refused to pay any of the claim at all in December so I then appealed. I heard nothing until April 2022 despite ringing them frequently & emailing them. They kept telling me it was being looked in to. I eventually got a response at the end of May upholding their decision & saying the condition could have been present from before I had my little lady & it should have been dealt with then. They knew she was a rescue dog & knew she had had a full medical when she came to me which did not flag the condition up at all. When I eventually had a sensible gentleman phone me & explain their reasons for refusal & I explained the situation to him he was so sympathetic & courteous & admitted that they would find many a reason not to pay out. He admitted that he has not insured his pet with them even though he works for them. I think that says it all.

Within 3 weeks of the new pups arrival she fractured her leg which involved surgery and multiple visits to the vets. 4paws insurance covered all the cost without any hassles and 4paws update us frequently on the progress of all the claims and Reimbursement was prompt. Thankfully Tilly is back to her lively self. I would highly recommend 4Paws pet insurance to anyone.

United Kingdom | 04 June 2022My policy renewal has just landed and despite not having claimed for my pet all year they have STILL increased the renewal by an additional £316.23!!! This is based purely on the fact he is getting older - how outrageous, I haven't made a claim but he's going to be 11 so I'm paying more for them to mitigate the risk even if I dont claim! I won't be renewing OBVIOUSLY!!!!!!!
