The claim from start to finish

Very quick resolution of my claim. For the few claims I have to make for my cat, 4Paws has always been easy to deal with.

1st claim we’ve ever made. Service was impeccable. Constant updates whilst claim being processed and quickly received payment too. For the sake of my pet I hope to not have to use again however it has made me feel secure for the future of my pet.

The vet and insurance company did everything taking the pressure off myself and worry of the paperwork been completed on time and done right .

We cannot rate 4Paws Pet Insurance highly enough. We had a cavalier king charles who sadly had heart disease and arthritis. We claimed for her and the claim was paid very very quickly but sadly she died last Thursday. 4Paws were very kind to us and offered us their condolences which went a long way with us. Thank you so much for helping our cavalier live a bit longer with medications.

I have a 8 and a half year rabbit who has never been ill and had to make a claim as she was critically ill with fly strike.. the vet saved her,the vet put through our claim and 4 weeks later we get an email saying we will not support your claim.. an absolute joke.. I pay £30 a month and they don’t cover a fundamental issue that can kill a rabbit if not treated.. I am disgusted that a company who say they care about animals would treat us in this way. Please don’t waste your money with this company.. they are lining their own pockets.

I recently took out pet insurance for my 2 year-old staffie. Unfortunately she cut herself rummaging around in what turned out to be quite thorny bushes whilst on holiday in France. The wound is still open, although it doesn't seem to be bothering her. Just to be sure though, I made an appointment with First Vet using their mobile app. First Vet is a free service offered by 4Paws. I was offered plenty of same-day appointment slots, and ended up talking to a very helpful vet who discussed various options, what to look out for in case things get worse, and how to treat the wound in the meantime. This was also followed up by a detailed email setting out all the points discussed. All in all, i think this is a very helpful service in that it provides same-day appointments for pet owners to speak directly with a good vet, and thus avoiding both delays in waiting for an in-person vet appointment and costs (the on-line service is free). (and it also avoids the need to then go through a claims process!)

I was new to this company this year and was not sure what to expect. Sadly I had to make a claim on our sick puppy. The process was slick enough to complete online but there was a blip in that they at first failed to recognise a continuation of treatment and only paid the first part of treatment. However a phoned in query about this, resulted in a swift and responsive resolution by a competent and personable person. Thank you. I am reassured as well as relieved.

First experience of having a claim with 4Paws and very pleased with the outcome. Great communication in terms of updates via text messages, emails etc. My claim was dealt with in good time and no major issues experienced. Overall very pleased with 4Paws in what is a very competitive market (Eg pet insurance) . 🙂

We were concerned that 4Paws insurance was going to be a difficult if we needed to make a claim. We hoped we would never need to claim however having had to make a claim we were very pleased to find that the Vet managed the claim and RVC went direct to the Insurance Company. Excellent 👌
