Det var nemt at booke en bil på nettet. Vi fik ikke den vi havde valgt men en tilsvarende i samme størrelse. Det var nemt at finde SIXT i lufthavnen, og der var gratis shuttlebusser til - og fra udlejningsfirmaet et øjeblik væk. Det var nemt at afhente og aflevere bilen, og betalingen gik super. Vi betalte forud. For lejen og fordi vi valgte 2 chauffører og en forsikring blev prisen 5000 kr for 7 dage i en Renault Kadjar fra 2022. Det var mange penge. Kan I ændre på noget kan prisen reduceres en smule 👍🏼😀

Disgraceful company Beware they will contact you weeks after car return from car condition department saying you caused scrapes to front bumper & charge your credit card for hundreds of euro, complete rip off , never return car to reception desk insist on someone meeting & checking car with you & better still avoid using company. Alors, voilà une agence de location de voiture en Irlande, qui, bien que prévenue de votre heure tardive d’arrivée est fermée quand vous arrivez, et vous laisse donc en rade sans voiture à l’aéroport…. Et ne vous rembourse pas ! Des escrocs en somme… à fuir absolument !

I’d like out ZERO stars if I could. Don’t touch with a barge pole ! Pre booked via Sixt website for 6 days car hire from Dublin Airport in December 2022. Many issues with the cars, exchanging 3x times, stoped in the road with car problem and the worst be charged in meu credit card. Could only contact Sixt.ie via email and eventually receiving update from the service desk that the Manager will call me. 3weeks ahead and no one call me yet. I’m raising complaints on my credit card company to remove all debits from my account. Still to date (January 2023) and I have received no explanation, solution and apology from Sixt.

This place wanted a 2000€ deposit on a ford ka one day rental the jokers. I said no and they told me they would refund me inside of 5 days which they never did and now I’ve been chasing them for over a week with no replies to my three emails!! Order number 9927189849

I would give zero stars if I could. I booked a car via Expedia to collect in the airport as time was important due to family illness. Had used Alamo twice in same month and collected in the airport which was fantastic. A very different experience with Sixt. Despite the booking showing in airport pickup, when I arrived at Dublin Airport I was advised that we had to get the shuttle bus. Despite complaining at the time the lady advised I had to take it up with Expedia as Sixt don’t provide cars in the airport unless you book directly with them. We went outside and after 20 minutes waiting at terminal 2, no bus arrived. In fact the driver from Avis noticed as he’d been around twice and offered us a lift stating that it was a common problem with Sixt and terminal 2. There were three other couples who joined us. Picking up the car it look just over 1hr from arriving at the desk to collecting the keys, not the experience I was after. As I drove out of Dublin the weather was muddy and lots of spray from vehicles due to melting ice. The windscreen was muddy so I went to spray the windscreen to find no water which created a dangerous situation and resulted in us having to pull over and use our bottled water to clean the windscreen. Never again. Sixt provided a dreadful experience

Auto gehuurd in Dublin centrum en konden de auto inleveren bij de luchthaven waar we direct vlot met een shuttle bus naar de luchthaven werden gebracht. Nette huur auto en zeer behulpzame vriendelijke medewerkers! Aanrader om de omgeving van Dublin te verkennen met een auto als je een citytrip gepland hebt. Veel te zien!

I booked a driver to collect us from the hotel on the 30thNov to bring us back to the airport in Berlin Germany through the Ryanair site. The driver never turned up despite taking full payment from my card. I contacted all numbers to no avail. Went on website to get to customer services but you had to create an account. Which I did. Got through only to have to fill out a form an he wait for a response. No good to me and my elderly mom. We ended up having to pay for a taxi. Needless to say we haven't had any response to the form filled out by either sixt it Ryanair.

Très mécontents du loueur SIXT. Lors d’un voyage en Irlande, Carrefour voyages de Givors s’est chargé de nous louer une voiture et nous avons souscrit une assurance pour cette location. Arrivés en Irlande, le loueur Sixt nous a imposé de prendre une nouvelle assurance faute de quoi, la voiture ne nous était pas donnée. De retour, nous avons fait une réclamation auprès de carrefour voyages. La réponse de Sixt : « vous avez signé le contrat et le loueur vous a informé que l’assurance proposée n’était pas obligatoire ». CECI est entièrement FAUX. Le loueur Sixt nous a imposé cette assurance !! c’est donc votre parole contre la notre… Sixt Irlande profite sans doute du fait que certains clients ne parlent pas couramment la langue anglaise pour les voler !! Sixt préfère donc perdre des clients plutôt que d’indemniser sa clientèle en cas de litige !! A fuir donc

0 STARS IF possible. Booked months in advance. Turned up at Shannon airport with 5 year old to no staff available and gone for the night. Would not answer phone was left with child crying in airport. Had to hire from another company at an extortionate rate of 400 for 3 nights as stranded. Have contacted customer services who agreed to a full refund. Have not heard from them since and no refund given. 3 calls, 2 emails and tweets. Shocking and unbelievable would consider this theft. Paid for service it was not delivered and no refund given!

In the past month I booked twice with Sixt, one via third party and one directly with them. Both times I had the most caring and attentive counter people. Declan, Conor and Jorge in the Stephen’s Green (Conrad Hotel) are just the best. They explained me everything I was paying for… in the first booking my car had some issued within its panel. It said that the oil needed to be changed and that I had lost pressure on the left rear tyre simply upon turning it on. Declan was kind enough to get to the car parking to verify the issues and change the car for me. Conor and Jorge welcomed for my second rental and were incredible accommodating my booking. 10/10! Can’t wait to hire again with Sixt

Sixt now only give you third party fire and theft insurance as the basic option. So to upgrade costs £23 a day. Very disappointed. Really sneaky. Caught for another £90 for three days in Manchester.

Don’t touch with a barge pole ! Pre booked via Ryanair for a 4 day car hire from Shannon Airport in April 2022. Returned to same airport and no issues until my May credit card statement showed an additional fee of £777.79. Could only contact Sixt.ie via email and eventually got an invoice stating a 34 day rental, toll fee and return to Dublin Airport. It was only after a Dispute was raised with my credit card company that this and 2 other fees were removed from my account. Still todate (October 2022) I have received no explanation or apology from As an update it is now late February 2023. In late October 2022 I received an apology with the so called final invoice which still showed Dublin as the return destination and an offer of a €100 discount off my next car hire. When this was declined and the incorrect invoice brought to there attention a further correct invoice was finally sent together with a good will repayment of €36. A promise to refer the whole to higher management for review never resulted in further correspondence from them.

A fuir ceux sont des voleurs et très agressifs envers les clients. Une réservation faite et payée 7 mois à l avance chez Sixt Dublin Aéroport. A cause d un vol Aer Lingus décalé nous arrivons le le demain à 05:00 du matin. La voiture réservée et payée pour 7 jours a été ré louée avant notre arrivée. Loué 2 fois et la personne au comptoir a été impolie et très agressive. A fuir absolument.

Very disappointed in Sixt. Car fine. Service at Dublin airport OK. Would not rent from them again...ever! too long a story to go into but they burned us for the points we used to originally book. Had to pay cash on the spot for the car then they denied refunding the points after our trip claiming we were "no show". We were going on the advice of the clerk. We essentially ended up paying twice for one car.

Bonjour, j'ai loué cet été un véhicule en Irlande pour 5 jours (agence de Dublin). Si le véhicule était en très bon état, mon expérience avec SIXT s'est avérée très mauvaise. En effet, le paiement du montant avec ma carte VISA Premium a été refusé, au motif qu'il s'agissait d'une carte de DEBIT et non pas d'une carte de CREDIT. La seule solution possible pour réaliser le paiement avec ma carte de débit consistait à payer un supplément de +180 € ! N'ayant pas d'autre choix (pas de carte de crédit en ma possession), j'ai été dans l'obligation de payer ce surcoût. Devant de telles pratiques commerciales douteuses pour une grande société de location de voitures, ce sera ma première et ma dernière expérience avec SIXT. Je m'adresserai désormais à d'autres loueurs. Soyez vigilants si vous louez en Irlande.

Ugly surprises all around. Reserved a Passat because I know the car and it's what I needed. No passat available at Dublin, they give me a Carolla that is a mess. Every single panel on the car is dented or scraped I look like I am driving some 10 year old beater. Then they require a mandatory 2,700 Euro deposit in case I damage the thing. Shameful and embarrassing. After multiple emails SIXT let me have a better car if I picked up at Shannon. Only 20 minutes out of the way so I took it. I guess you could call that trying to make it better, albeit on my time and energy. Finally final charge to my card in August was $158 more than the quote given when I reserved in March. I suppose I should be grateful. Didn't get the car I reserved for the price I reserved it at, I returned a day early and all fixes to the problem were at my time and expense. Is this what passes for car rental in Ireland? I'd rather go to France.

Good experience at Shannon Airport. No queues, car ready, no pressure re insurance. Dacia Duster when ordered a mid range. Drop off was easy and got a lift to departures door.
