The Conrad hotel location was extremely easy to pick up and return the vehicle. I also appreciated the different levels of coverage to choose for your rental. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to other travelers!

They picked us up at the airport and returned us when we returned the car. It was clean. They loaned us a GPS as our American phones would not work in Ireland. Everyone we worked with was polite.

United States | 23 October 2024The location was really close to our hotel so we could walk! When we arrived to check-in, the line was short and we were seen within 5 mins. The person who helped us was warm and efficient. They have this one-sheeter that helps you remember to stay on the left AND to anchor to the line on the right - SO helpful for a first time opposite driver! Getting the car and returning it on the 5th floor was a breeze. Dare I say the easiest experience I've had renting a car in my life!

Canada | 18 October 2024The rental car was fairly old (~3 years) and some things did not work properly (e.g. Android Auto connection); however, my may need of having a large trunk to carry the luggage of 4 people was met, so overall I'm satisfied with the rental experience. The return was very smooth and no issues were found with the car by the return inspector - the email to that effect also confirmed the status of the return. However, I was rather surprised when a few days after the return of the car a new charge from Sixt appeared on my credit card. There was no explanation via e-mail, or phone call as to what the charge might be for. As I was busy with the rest of my travel, I didn't have a chance to contact Sixt for an explanation, but it seems unfair that Sixt would treat their customers that way. I'll think twice before renting with Sixt again.

Lithuania | 16 October 2024All I can say for now I do not recommend sixt company. Please be aware and choose carefully! Once you provide your bank details there is no way back. Be ready that customer service doesnt work and once it comes to bill issues nobody there to help. We rented a car from sixt Dublin, Start driving throw m50 road and felt there is something wrong with a clutch. By the time it was safe to stop we find out that reverse doesnt work at all, and all the clutch actually gone. Called emergency number. They did apologise and send us inspection guy who came and said that yes clutch is gone, shouldnt be giving this car to us. After 7hrs midnight we got a new car replacement. Even tho it was not our fault who do you think guys paid for all of this? 5 different transactions, no answers, paid like we been renting 2 cars. Minus 1760 euro from an acount with no explanation, no investigation. Plus on invoice says car upgrade , really .. they gave us broken car and offer to replace it , all trip plans been changed, and in the end we paid for everything. I would highly recommend not to go to this company and be ready to contact small case courts plus RTB. Might it take time but dont leave thing like this because this big companys just having fun from ppl like us. Have to mention we did bought full insurance, but on paper said smart insurance so please check what they have written on contract before you sign in!

I then arrived to Dublin airport and they took an additional £156.24 as a deposit and an additional price for what I still haven’t been told. Arriving back to Dublin airport, the car was only half full with fuel, which I expected my deposit (€100) would cover. Days after I came home, they attempted two transactions of a low amount, without warning or reason, and then took £152.06 from my account. So for 4 days, I paid over £360 to rent a car from them, which was advertised as £65. When investigating the matter, the customer service team were rude and unhelpful. They refunded me £16 for an engine light which they had blamed me for and didn’t even realise until I had brought to their attention, and refused to see that they had charged me twice, saying they had to close my case as I was wasting their time. Do not rent from Sixt cars unless you want to be scammed!

France | 14 October 2024Sixt aéroport Dublin n'a pas voulu nous laisser le véhicule préalablement réserver et payer en ligne Un voyage avec 2 enfants en bas âge sans voiture...suite à ma réclamation une employé du service client m'écrit par mail que je vais être rembourser après plusieurs semaines d échanges laborieux . Au final 2 semaines encore ils me refusent le remboursement et ne me donne plus de nouvelles C'est inadmissible , je ne recommande pas du tout aucune aide ni prise en charge L employé à Dublin nous a dit de partir en nous assurant le remboursement C'était en août je n'ai toujours rien A faire !!
