United Kingdom | 07 February 2025Terrible company. I deal with multiple accounts for rental houses. I've inherited two accounts with Huddle / TruEnergy which have taken months to resolve. Huddle have sent threatening letters to my tenants who are on a bills inclusive tenancy. Their whole approach is threats and harassment. Also they will never send a final bill - they keep fleecing the same account and stack up the penalty charges. Nobody needs a company like this

United Kingdom | 01 February 2025In the process of taking them to court. They won't provide with accurate breakdown of energy and gas consumption. Refuse to answer to emails. They hire 3rd party agents who don't know what bundles they have available, had to contact them twice now cause they kept putting us on the wrong deal. The website does not work properly, probably made in WIX, hosted an monitored god knows where and by who. so a household of 5 getting charged £1146 a month for gas and electric alone, when we are barely home and keep everything on a minimum?? If anyone has had a bad experience and want to join our law suit get in touch. I mean in what world does an energy company refuse to show the energy consumption and tariff breakdown and think its ok to hike charges to triple the amount with zero transparency? These people should be in jail.

United Kingdom | 31 January 2025They have raised prices twice within 3 months, have repeatedly made admin "mistakes" in order for us to charge more, will give us deadlines to respond shorter than their own deadlines for email responses, raised our payments because they claimed not everyone was signed up, and when they sorted out everyone being signed up they never lowered the payments to their original rate. Scam company, incredibly unprofessional, using google docs to convey very important communications.

United Kingdom | 30 January 2025Students - beware of being sucked in by their marketing. Yes it is VERY easy to sign up to one of their accounts, but their prices are incredibly expensive compared to a regular utility company (expect to pay at least double). Also they send you NO proof of usage or associated usage costs, other than the silly little graphs which just show an under usage or over usage amount. After 6 months, they are trying to more than double the monthly payments, but can provide no invoices or reasons to substantiate the change. This means a household of 4 would be paying them almost £600 per month! Currently my query with them is unresolved. Do yourself a favour, save yourself some money and hassle by avoiding this company. Update - Olivia has not emailed with the information she promised to send following our call a week ago.

United Kingdom | 29 January 2025SCAMMERS Takes advantage of students. I accepted the 115 monthly charge. Staying at the property nearly 6 months. They have tried to charge me an extra 200 pounds after I had paid everything correctly. I am still waiting to hear what this extra 200 pounds is for. Being a student I am unable to pay this even. They sent me two final statements. One saying I am owed 25 pounds. Another saying I owe 200 pounds. Absolute scammers

United Kingdom | 29 January 2025Huddle offered me a deal to convince me to sign over octopus, where we got the first few months free of charge. But at the end of the year they tried to suggest the deal had never been made even when their own phone call records confirmed it had. they also incorrectly tried to charge us for over usage despite their own graphs suggesting we hadnt over used. They were entirely dishonest throughout the whole process and we had to take them to the ombudsman to get them to back down. honestly I would suggest anyone else over Huddle they will try to take advantage of you and I regret not taking te csase further to court

United Kingdom | 22 January 2025Absolutely scammers. Opened a contract on an address I don’t live in anymore without my consent and then tried charging me for it . Not to say they have tried to scam us previously buy changing the set price 74£ on the contract say that made a mistake and we have to pay more 120£. Also WiFi never worked.

United Kingdom | 22 January 2025Absolute scammers. Last year they tried to take advantage of us as students by overcharging us and raising the price sneakily behind our backs. After weeks of back and forth emails and lots of energy wasted, the company realised they were in the wrong, refunded our money and amended the prices. Happily ever after right? WRONG It is one year later and our contract has ended. We are with a different provider and they STILL manage to wriggle their way back into my life like maggots spawning in spoiled chicken. Without my permission, they set up a direct debit subscription and charged me for bills at an address I DONT LIVE AT!! Do NOT join this scam company. Unless you like your money to be stolen.

United Kingdom | 11 January 2025I wish i could put 0 stars. This company is a vile disgusting company. They are misleading with their policies and are taking advantage of students. They told me and my flatmates our bill was capped then when the contract ended started claiming that we all owed over £90 each, even though everyone paid their bill. And when we didn’t pay it threatened to take us to court with a CCJ. Don’t bother with this company

United Kingdom | 10 December 2024I am a student at uni, who was looking to move into a student house with some friends. but after some looking, we decided to live in private halls again. But while looking for houses, we looked at bills. And came across Huddle. After looking at their website for a ‘free’ quote, I was signed up onto a contract without my knowledge. The address listed in the ‘account’ wasn’t even the one I lived at. I then started receiving emails saying I owed £500 or so for unpaid bills. And that I needed to input some payment details online. After realising what they had done. I was emailing back and forth for a month trying to explain that I didn’t even live there, I don’t use their services, and I was unaware I even had an account. They kept ignoring me over email, but eventually even said that they had contacted the letting agents of the other property and can confirm I don’t live there. Even after admitting they know for a fact I do not live at the address, so therefore it couldn’t possibly be me who had racked up that much debt. I still had to pay the money, as well as a £30 cancellation fee. PER UTILITY. I was fuming to say the least. Now I’m more annoyed than before and broke. All in all £670 down the drain. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Canada | 10 December 202410/10 experience with huddle! They made my first moving in experience a breeze! They completely sorted everything and I’ve never had to worry all whilst paying a fair price! I could not recommend them more!
