Following the cessation of my credit card travel insurance at age 80 I had insured, pre-Covid, with Free Spirit and was totally satisfied with the process. Now that we are again travelling and my wife has also joined the octogenarian club we approached Free Spirit, now to insure as a couple. The process was again hassle-free. I had almost completed the process online when I ran into a self-inflicted problem. After a few unsuccessful efforts to resolve I phoned Free Spirit. The phone was answered immediately and my problem resolved in a couple of minutes. My wife and I also considered the cost to be reasonable.

I was able to acquire travel insurance which my normal insurer would not cover. Although pleased to be able to get this insurance, I was a little taken aback at the cost, however, I needed insurance quickly so did not bother to shop around.
