Ordered bed, from " Cheap Bed Sales", which is a trading name of Home Furnishings UK ltd (have checked this with companies house) The bed which was good price, and promise of prompt delivery was great..... however thats where it all went wrong from then on. The bed delivered had miss matching parts... was supposed to be black with a blue detail..... headboard and footer fine, however sides were marked on packaging as black and red.... when opened it was just black, no detail at all. As i had disposed of my childs old bed that day in anticipation of his nice new bed, I had to accept the delivery. When i started to assemble I was shocked at the Quality control, fixing brackets were skewed from top to bottom, the side panel extrudes from the headboard by 2cm, however is recessed at the foot board by 3cm, the whole bed is not square when put together. Called sales number (its the only number they provide) - totally unhelpful, told me to contact after sales - you can only do this by email. I emailed after sales the following day, got a response day later asking for photos.... no name of person responding, no phone number, nothing. I spent 2 hours trying to send photos, however their email server wont accept photos at it exceeds there limit for anything other than a tiny thumbnail type picture. Still waiting for response to my complaint, no way to contact them other than by email, which is shocking in this day and age

Really comfy firm bed with fast and efficient delivery. Second time I've ordered from hf4u and happily recommend them.

Company wasn't very helpful in sorting out a delivery time and day. I was told delivery would be between 7-7. No delivery at weekends. The driver Jameel is an excellent driver very helpful very good service. I rate the driver 5*****.

The service we got from start to finish was fantastic the girl on the phone was great new what she was on about delivery was on time came time and day they said bed and headboard would and the driver was a credit to them thanks again

Firstly Jamel was the kindest, helpful delivery guy I can remember. The item is not quite as displayed in photo but far exceeded my expectations.

Promise next day delivery but, literally, didn't deliver, being disabled and having lined up two friends to help me put together the new bed I'm not best pleased and wouldn't use them again.

Next day delivery, friendly staff

Given that next day delivery is available free before 5pm, I was astounded to find that having given 6 days notice for delivery, I had to chase the missing delivery. A phone call FROM Customer Care to explain the circumstances behind the delay (van breaking down on the day of collection from the manufacturer and delivery by the vendor) may have defused the situation, however, goods arrived a day later and although the delivery note specified ring customer half an hour before delivery, my wife never got a call. Poor service, first time buyer, hope the goods can deliver better performance. ***Thanks for the apology below. I totally agree - "Force majeure" is certainly an old trick of Contracting Law, even if it wasn't a misrepresentation. Reading your other review comments, however, there are means of communicating this to the customer nowadays, such as text, telephone or email, which your company failed on three counts. Perhaps you had a dodgy server day too? It's inexcusable by today's standards, but your eagerness to reply and apologise on a Bank Holiday weekend is duly noted.***
