Based on the wide range of reviews we didn't know what to expect, but the price was convincing. We shouldn't have worried; I received a phone call to confirm delivery the next day and shortly after 7AM the courier was there; he was polite and friendly. The mattress was packed properly and our only regret is that we did not buy it a long time ago; it is sooooo comfortable! Highly recommended!

fast delivery and really kind staff on the phone when orderd.wicked delivery driver who brought the bed in to house for me as I'm disabled and put it where i needed it. he was really polite and the bed is really comfortable thank u will be ordering again soon. Again A********(800000907)

After delivery had to find out they sended the wrong bed (poor quality etc) contacted to be changed and they told me it can be done for one day and I had to wait (which was a problem as the bed was for a present i.e. had to be redelivered and the delivery was booked). After they replaced it and I sent it to the person for a present I had to find out that the bed is damaged inside the construction. Parts were missing etc. Again after I contact with them they did not do anything but with an joke email they asked me to remove my feedback and if I do it they will pay me 25£. Worst customer service ever, bad quality, no respect and comunication. NEVER DO THIS! You will loose time, energy and money!

I have bought four beds and three mattresses from this company so far and all are very comfortable... Service when ordering very helpful and delivery has always been as promised by friendly delivery people.

Absolutely disscusting company to do business with, 2 delivery dates missed (both of which I had to take time of work for) only to be finaly told they didn't have the item in stock despite there website saying it was and ready to dispatch! Requested a refund by email and after 7 days of no response or refund I contacted them and was told it would be done that day, this went on for another week with nothing being done, finaly spoke to someone in there accounts department who told me it had been done (lie, confimed by PayPal), to no longer contact them, then hanging up on me!! Finaly sorted after contacting PayPal and them returning the money to me. 28 days it total waiting and never had one bit of communication from them that wasnt initiated by me. Avoid this company at all costs, unprofessional, unhelpful and rude!!

DO NOT USE YHIS COMPANY. My bed never arrived when told it would. Each time I called I was told it was on its way. Staff on the phone did not return my calls and were unhelpful. They would not call the courier company that they used to find out where my bed was. After 26 calls I got nowhere. My bed arrived the next day by only after I spent a night in a hotel. Before making this review I called home furnishings to speak to a manager and give them an opportunity to defend themselves. Needless to say no manager would speak to me and non of my calls were returned as requested. My frustration and anger is the fact that no staff member wanted to help or bothered to return my call. Really bad customer care skills. Customer Care is paramount if you want a customer retention then I suggest you put things right that are so wrong. Get staff members to own a problem. I found out eventually that it was the courier company that failed NIGHT FREIGHT. Home furnishings couldn't be bothered to find that out it was me after digging and digging. I would love to hear from you Home Furnishings.... WE'D 7TH DECEMBER. .NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAVE STILL NOT HEARD BACK FROM JONATHAN WHO REPLIED TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW. HE ASKED ME TO EMAIL HIM WHICH I DID. WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED HE DID NOT BOTHER TO RESPOND!!!. AGAIN STEERIE WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. I emailed you as requested and quoted my order number . Here it is again Your Order #800000788 (placed on 21 November 2016 15:30:51 GMT) Nof more excuses please. 8th December : I have not received any such email from you. This is the way your company work. Tell customers you have done something yet you haven't. Say you will call back yet do not. I left my phone number with my full name and number 26 times. Why make the excuse you could not find my order details? .Wouldn't you like your customers to give you first class reviews to ensure you get new customers? FACT: ONCE YOU TAKE A CUSTOMERS MONEY YOU DON'T BOTHER WITH ANY KIND OF AFTER CARE. FACT: YOU DON'T RETURN CALLS. FACT: YOU DON'T CARE.. After giving you every opportunity to assist i am taking my concerns about you to WATCHDOG. UPDATE. 11th December 2016. I HAVE NOW BEEN CONTACTED BY HOME FURNISHINGS UK LTD. THEY OFFERED ME £15 TO REMOVE MY REVIEW. THAT SAYS IT ALL!!!!!!! NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER, NO GOODWILL AT ALL JUST CONCERNED WITH THE REVIEW. THE EXTREMELY SAD THING HERE IS THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO LOOK AFTER THE CUSTOMERS. WHO PAY THEIR WAGES.

I needed a new bed for guest bedroom, as its only a single room we had to have a single bed but decided to buy a guest bed with trundle for occasional use. Found the Oxford bed on Home Furnishings web site at a really competitive price. It also offered next day delivery. Ordering was simple, received a confirmation e-mail and a phone call the evening before delivery. Unfortunately due to an accident on motorway and the driver running out of hours, we didn't get next day delivery. We were called and informed that the delivery would be in two days time, which it was, nice and early in morning which was great as the rest of day was free. Bed was well packaged and in good order, when unpacked and place in room it looked really good. Very pleased with product and service form Home Furnishings. Will definetly use again.

Purchased bedroom furniture and bed on the Saturday over the phone, with items to be delivered on the Thursday... Having read reviews I was very wary over delivery days etc... but confirmed over the phone prior and also on the day where I rang and was given an estimated delivery slot! Items arrived packed very well and no problems... Would not hesitate to use this company again! Excellent prices and items as described online.

Ordered a bed for my new flat through webisie to be delivered on weds 17th august. Got a call at 17.50 on tues 16 to say delivery has been delayed - obviously no good to me as i had no bed! I told them to cancel the bed as i would have to go out and buy one that day as i would not have nowhere to sleep and has booked a day off work which i could not rearrange at short notice. They said it would take 3 working days to get money refunded. 8 days later and guess what - no refund has been issued! I have called several times and no 1 will deal with my request. The company has left me with no choice but to seek legal action

Ordered a bed via eBay which included delivery (no delivery options offered). Left my 84yr old father at the address to accept deliver when I was in work as they had not delivered on the day expected. Delivery man stated unles he helped unload the item from high back van and into property then he would drive away with item. At 84yrs and with serious heart condition my father unloaded a 6ft bed frame and mattress. home furnishings have been told it needs a two man delivery service but won't pay for it. Customer service rude and unhelpful. Would never ever use again.

The First delivery was damaged. The customer service representative was slightly abrupt and did not apologise for the inconvenience. This would have been nice. Bed frame arrived three days after original delivery, which was reasonable turnaround. Customer service could be improved.

After reading some of the bad reviews I nearly didn't make my purchase how wrong would I have been delivered on day agreed made three phone calls all of which were answered efficiently I would recommend you try for yourselves and ignore the bad reviews as I did.

It was easy to order new bed which is excellent quality. The depth of both mattress is great and comfortable. The delivery was good too
