Unfortunately when it arrived after 6 days, part of the bed had got broken in transit and the wrong colour of headboard had been sent. We have ordered 3 times from home furnishings and twice items have arrived damaged. I think this is something that urgently needs looked at to avoid disappointment

United Kingdom | 22 March 2017The 3 star review is for the whole experience. 4 star for Home furnishings. 1 star for DX delivery company. I ordered a bed for Saturday delivery as I have a very busy work schedule mon-fri. On the Saturday morning half the bed showed up (divan bed base) and I was told the other half was due Monday as there had been a mix up in the depot. Earlier that morning I had taken my old bed apart to make the room for the new bed so i was to sleep on a mattress for he next couple of days (which isn't the end of the world). I managed to get half a day off work on Monday to wait for the bed, however after waiting till 1pm I phoned home furnishings who contacted the delivery company and to my dismay I was told they have now sent it to the wrong depot and I had to wait again till tomorrow, Tuesday comes another day off (now a full day and half off work unpaid) and they finally turn up at 3pm and like the first delivery driver never once offered to help me carry the bed parts up 3 flights of apartment stairs. Still waiting for my £35 Saturday delivery cost refund!

Cons: I was not able to pay for my item online for some reason, had to pay by phone. Delivery man rang me 10 mins before delivery and refused to wait for me another 10 mins as I was on my way home. I was lucky caretaker was around so delivery man left my mattress under his supervision ;)
