Easy to get a quote for my 7 year old cat, good price and useful to be able to spread the cost by monthly direct debit. Previous provider had increased their prices on renewal so switched to Healthy Pets.

The receptionist was polite and cheerful and met my needs.

Read the small print then go elsewhere. £500+ vet bill they paid out £36. All the disclaimers buried in the small print. Disgusting!

Overall very poor service. What should have been a simple claim (and our first ever claim) became a very long winded process that has resulted in us cancelling our policy after only 18 months with them. Constantly had to chase them for any updates. Our poor vests (a known brand) kept apologising to us as they too couldn't make any progress with them despite Healthy Pets saying it was a delay on the vets end (which they proved to be false). Only after we stated we sought advice from the FOS (due to just how long this claim was taking) did they make any attempt to progress the claim. Now, despite us no longer having a policy with them, we are constantly bombarded with contact from them as they had put in a complaint "on our behalf" - something we never asked them to do, and never at any point stated we wanted to do or intended to do. We just cancelled our policy 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ It feels like a last attempt at customer service to cover their backs. Go elsewhere. There is far cheaper and far better policies out there. Can't even state they resolved our claim 🤷‍♀️

New puppy needed insurance after having 3 schnauzers all insured over last 13 years many claims all paid our promptly I never had a complaints so why go somewhere else and price good as well. Hoping not to claim obviously but who knows 🤞

They increased my dog insurance from initial £17 to staggering £28 in 2 years!!! Shopping around I found cheaper options as well as them offering same policy for £17!! That concludes that increases are not justified. Will be reported to Financial Ombudsman
