Very easy to understand & decide.

Setting up this insurance was both quick and easy and it is good value for money.

I have not heard of this company before ,I found them through a comparison sight.Very easy to apply. The documents didn't come through in the 5 days stated...but after a very polite phone call,I got them ok!

I do not recommend this company at all, stay away from them unless you just want your money taken and god forbid your pet ever gets sick. I have been with this company for about 8 years and never had to claim until one of my cats (added to the policy in 2020) unfortunately developed a neurological issue which requires medication to be taken for the rest of his life. Not costly - just steroids. They started increasing their premium annually and gradually increased the minimum excess before being able to claim anything back. I have moved addresses twice (from small town to a city) and the latest increase came after I moved back from a city to a town. They have almost doubled the monthly premium amount just for a change of address!! Their excuse is that the area is at more risk (as opposed to a city!?! with the cat being fully indoor!) The premium is now 3x as much as if I was to take out a premium with a different provider in the same area, but cannot do that as the pet is now classed as having pre-existing condition so we are stuck with them as no other insurer will touch us without stupid amount of money! Absolutely ridiculous money grabbing company that doesn’t appreciate long standing clients. Stay away from them or move before it’s too late!

I've been with them for years. Unfortunately, my cat was accident prone but thanks to HP he was covered for everything but excess (teeth only if in an accident). So easy to get a hold of, compete the form and no issues with cover. Whilst renewing every year they'd inform me to shop around in case of cheaper insurance. As they were so good I've stayed up until now. Due to the age of my cat I did find cheaper elsewhere which saddens me to leave but over £30 a month was a little too much, sorry (let's hope I get the same excellent support elsewhere). However, I've since insured my kitten so hoping to be with HP for many more years!!

Best insurance purchase journey ever

Insured my german shepard with this lot since she was born, never claimed until last few months of her life which was start of 2023 and it was tedious getting money from them, or having them pay out.. Excuses after excuses... If your vet demands immediate payments and/or cost paid up then these are not for you... STAY AWAY. Over the life span of my girl they must of had close to 10000 out of me and paid back a very small amount back. I feel sick I have lined someones pockets... UPDATE After receiving a reply from HealthyPets I find it only fair to add this to my review, they want me to email them but why? What will me talking with them change what has already been, i have had so many discussions over my issues and none was took to consideration then so why would me contacting you now matter... My review will stay.

So how can they justify charging 20015 pound a year pet insurance for a 22kg dog at 10 years old it’s not a large dog it’s a medium size dog any thing over 27 kg is large it’s time people stopped getting ripped off buy these insurance companies so what it or they will con you
