United Kingdom | 15 December 2024As people say, you can’t really assess an insurance company until you need to make a claim, which is why we are currently giving 1 star. Over 4 weeks ago, our cat was injured in an accident and underwent a successful surgery. However, the last 4 weeks have been full on anxiety any sleepless nights as they claim still hasn’t been assessed. To our surprise, they told us 4 weeks is their current claim processing time, far exceeding the 10 working days they state on their website. Even after 4 weeks, when we rang on Friday so could give us no more assurance of when it would be accessed. Coming up to Christmas and will other financial challenges this ongoing situation is making things so much worse for our mental health and family finances. The reviews were good when we joined, but if you are looking for an insurer that will help in your time of need, I would currently look elsewhere. We are really hoping for a resolution this week before Christmas but it seems very unlikely and our anxiety, stress and uncertainty goes on.

United Kingdom | 12 December 2024Just a word of warning, if your pet becomes ill towards the end of the policy, and received treatment in the old and new policy, you will have to pay the excess twice, even if it’s one claim. It is in the terms and conditions, which i admit I did not go through with a fine tooth comb, so be aware of this a don’t allow your pet to become in at the end of a policy !!!!! Or compare with other pet insurance. I have to say that the staff are very helpful, and really the only + point I can make at this time.

United Kingdom | 11 December 2024Fine until you actually need to make a claim. All you get is excuses about how busy they are and they have a backlog. We are now 2 months into a claim with them and have now written to them advising of legal action should the claim not be processed within the next 10 days. Absolutely shocking service we will definitely NOT use this shower of clowns again and would suggest anyone thinking of giving them business to think again and go elsewhere. How they have anything over a 4 star rating is totally beyond me. Avoid at all costs.

United Kingdom | 10 December 2024I am currently in the process of making a simple claim with this company and can say what a TERRIBLE experience I am having. I was told that it would be processed within 4 weeks of submitting, that was 2 months ago. I have spoken to many agents who have given me no reason for the delay and will not give me any timescale as to when my claim will be resolved. The vets are now demanding £1500 from me. Surely this is unacceptable. I have asked for a call from the complaints department but doubt this will happen. I have just renewed and when I do finally get to speak to someone in the complaints department I will be cancelling my policy.

It is a simple claim which should be resolved quickly. Each time I call I get fobbed off with an excuse about a backlog & a lack of assessors. Will not be insuring with them again

I sent a complaint e-mail and didn't even receive a response to it. Called them and they could not give me any timescale when my claim will be resolved. This has left me in a difficult financial situation. Do not recommend. I will be changing provider come renewal time.

United Kingdom | 09 December 2024Up until the last couple of months I would have given 5 stars - the premiums were reasonable, the website was simple to use, and I had peace of mind that my cat was insured should anything happen to him. Unfortunately, two months ago I had to make a claim ... Since then communication has been awful (I've only ever had any delayed communication after chasing them) and, despite the website saying claims are usually paid in 10 working days, more than 45 working days since the treatment I am still waiting. I've chased and chased but am still currently 600 quid out of pocket!
