United States | 15 August 2023Customer service is awful. My machine says it needs a pw. I never had a pw. So now i need a user code and my systems been locked out over a day. Tried their live chat and it was a ai bot that linked me right back to the same ai bot. Tried calling them and after being on hold 10 min a message simply said were busy and hungup. Emailed 3 times and no response. Messaged on their forum no response. This default option breaks the system and the only people who can fix it is them. My security is important and waiting this long for a response if any is ridiculous.

United States | 15 August 2023I purchased my Annke security system to replace an existing system that was so inferior compared to Annke’s. After installation, one camera did not work properly. Customer service attempted to resolve problem with their technical department, but when unable to, a replacement camera was immediately sent. This resolved the issue. Based on their great product and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Annke.

United States | 11 August 2023On Aug 04 I order a and a nvr recorder (order number A14147) and paid 320.99. I finely got around hooking it up about 4 weeks ago. I cannot get it hookup. The problem is the password I put in the nvr recorder say’s it not the right one. I have called Annke tec support I don’t know how many times if you can get in at all because the line is always busy. I been to the website and under support and sent them messages about my problem (57 messages I have sent and have gotten them all save). I have only been able to chat live tec online and twice and each time got disconnect and then when I tried to contact with the online tec all I got is all of our live tecs are busy please send an email. don’t want a refund all I want is Ananke tec support to help me solve the problem. But I am getting is the run arounds, or I file a problem and they market solved with out even talking to me. Very upset. Now on 8/10/23 I have a appointment with online chat on TeamVeiwer at 3:30-4:00a.m. yes a.m. I stayed up and waited and the tec Joy Weng never showed up. I have that email about are meeting save too. I don’t know what to do

United States | 04 August 2023I bought this DW81KD 8CH 2GB DVR for the advertised AI line crossing and intrusion zone detection. After a lot of work to get this system online and email alerts working, I was very disappointed to find that the AI detection for line crossing and intrusion zone detection are just not working. I worked with their tech support for many days, sending them the recorded videos. They are super responsive, except that they typically respond at 2am PST. So I have to wait a day for response. Guess they are in Asia and only check messages at the end of the day. They finally arranged a TeamViewer remote session where they got the chief engineer with me to look at my videos and agreed that the detection is not working. Also, what is not stated, and even their tech support did not know, is that only 4 cameras are supported for advanced line crossing/intrusion zone detection, and that requires all other cameras to disable motion detection. Also, the AI detection is not supported for IP cameras. I have an Armcrest IP camera and it has its own matrix motion detection zones and that was supported. The email alert mechanism worked very well once I got it working. It was not obvious how to make it work. Required a lot of digging on their help pages. The phone app is decent, but it missed some of the alerts that was received by email. I also liked the feature where you can prerecord up to 30 seconds before the trigger event and a selectable period after the event. In other systems, I had to turn on continuous record to view the period before the event. One annoying feature is playback. To see the trigger rectangle and detection zones, you have to download the video and then play it with their VSPlayer program. Also the UI is not that friendly. For instance, changing any selection will reset the camera selection to the first camera. Also, when you select live view, it is always all blank. You have to select which camera goes to which slot on the screen each time you go to live view. I finally decided to return this DVR to amazon despite customer support's offer of $15 then upped to $25 refund for my troubles. I do like their customer support. They are responsive and nice. Subsequently, I found the same DVR with no disc drive for $90 less on Amazon. Since I already have a 2GB drive from my old LOREX DVR, I purchased this version back to try the basic motion detection featured that I did not try before. That turned out to be quite decent. With Human enabled, shadows of trees waving do not trigger an alert. But at night, lighting change due to cars passing by my driveway do trigger an alert.
