NVR N48PAW was offline on enabling Annke Vision and correspondingly I wasn't able to use mobile app to access it and view pictures from my cameras. Also I couldn't update NVR firmware. I requested a support using a chat and some guy during 10 minutes remotely over TeamViewer make all things work, in particular he's updated a firmware and NVR became online in the same time. So currently I continue enjoying the pictures from Annke cameras from any point of the Earth. Also I can recommend Annke products (i.e. i have NVR and four 4K cameras) for everyone who wants to increase their security.

Belgium | 14 July 2023Malheureusement mon expérience avec Annke n'est vraiment pas positive. 2 caméras (VC800) achetées neuves, et après 48h d'utilisation elles présentent déjà pléthore de problèmes : -artefacts et freezes d'images très réguliers ; - temps de connexion aux caméras atrocement long et donnant très régulièrement des erreurs type "connexion impossible" (ma connexion internet personnelle est très rapide et a été vérifiée à plusieurs reprises, ce n'est pas le problème); - service technique donnant des réponses inappropriés (copier/coller) et demande vos IDENTIFIANTS PERSONNELS (login ET mot de passe de l'application). Hallucinant ! Je n'ai jamais vu cela de ma vie. Est-ce seulement légal ? En bref, j'ai deux caméras pratiquement inutiles et ne remplissant absolument pas leurs fonctions de par leur qualité et leur fiabilité médiocres. EDIT suite à la réponse de Annke ci-dessous: aucun support additionnel ne m'a été proposé. Au contraire, le support maintient l'obligation de fournir les identifiants Annke vision pour avoir un dépannage...

United States | 12 July 2023Unable to reach Annke support phone number provided always goes to voice mail, parts were missing from the box in shipment that are required for installation. I have resorted to contacting vendor who I purchased through to get a full replacement of the camera system. Emails to support have gone no where, they pass the buck and do not provide parts replacement or resolution

The softwar sucks and the help center's chat dont work aswell. update 02 08 2023 : After experiencing the client service , as I read in another comment they ask you for login mdp. What a joke. And added to that they dont give a f about your problem. Service client is making fun of you. So my pb still persist.

United Kingdom | 11 July 2023I bought a CCTV kit from ANNKE to replace an old kit from another company. Wow this kit is great. Super quality pictures, easy enough to set up. Little things are thought of like the waterproof RJ4t plug covers are already on the supplied cables. This means no cutting the plugs off to fit them. The Phone app is also very easy to use, and well developed. And customer support are very helpful. Wish I'd bought this kit first time around.

Germany | 07 July 2023Meine Kamera lässt sich nach einiger Zeit regelmässig nicht mehr streamen und es kommt die Anzeige, dass Benutzername und Passwort falsch seien. Der Kundendienst ist wenig hilfreich und hat schon seit 2 Wochen keine Lösung. Werde die Kamera zurück senden. Obwohl der Fehler am Gerät liegt weigert sich Annke, ein Retourenlabel zu senden - so, wie es eigentlich vorgeschrieben ist. Werde in Zukunft diese Firma meiden und auch Freunden abraten. Nun schreibt die Fa. Annke in ihrer Reaktion hier, dass ich den Support erneut kontaktieren soll. Leider läuft das auch nur darauf hin, weiter hingehalten zu werden. Ohne Lösung und ohne dass mein Retourenwunsch endlich akzeptiert wird. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt.

United States | 06 July 2023If you are not tech-savvy, you are going to have a frustrating experience setting up more than basic features of an Annke system. If you want more than basic recording, you will need a good understanding of networking and all the undocumented acronyms associated with Annke's NVR and cameras. Prepare to spend hours, days, and weeks tweaking settings and figuring out how to work around the inconsistencies in the NVR, camera, app, and browser system designs and terminologies. The NVR interface via HDMI/monitor is useful for watching the screens but it doesn't show blue detection zones or green detection boxes. Annke's 4K NVR doesn't support/map all the settings in the cameras, so it's not enough to log into the NVR... I have to log into the cameras directly via Microsoft Edge browser in Internet Explorer mode with a separately downloaded plugin. When setting up the motion detection and intrusion detection zones (in the browser), sometimes I have to do it blind because there is no video at all, and then randomly the video works without having changed any parameters/settings. If it worked before, I've learned to do nothing and the video stream to the browser will eventually work again. Pro tip: Use the live stream from the Guarding Vision PC client to see the blue detection zone changes you make blindly on the browser. Contacting customer support means I got 1 question answered per day and only during business hours in China. Oh, and I was just told by their tech support that the N96PBD NVR that Annke pairs with the NC800 cameras does not support human and vehicle detection, even though the cameras DO support human and vehicle detection. Motion detection, human detection, and vehicle detection is inconsistent. The settings stored in the NVR don't match the settings stored in the camera and I don't get consistent alerts based on the same repeated movement. Regarding app access, I use the Guarding Vision app on the phone and the Guarding Vision client on PC, which are very different. The PC client is the only way I have found to view the blue detection zones and green detection motion detection boxes (those boxes only show up for my 800 series cameras) so at least I can spend hours troubleshooting the 800 series cameras using visual data instead of blindly. The phone app does not show blue detection zones or green detection boxes and I would need to modify networking settings to access the NVR. Since the NVR doesn't support / map all the camera settings, I didn't bother and just use the PC browser. I expected Annke to design and sell systems (NVR and cameras) that work well together out of the box without requiring me to ignore inconsistencies and have to figure just about everything out by modifying settings over and over until things work out. I left not-so-great reviews on Annke.com for the products I purchased, but I haven't seen them go live. hmm... On the positive side, the system did function right out of the box. I had no issues with basic functionality and basic viewing until I needed to modify the camera settings. The NightChroma cameras have a great picture at night (if you can adjust the camera settings) and motion / intrusion detection seems to work good enough after you spent hours tweaking settings. The NVR works well as a 16 port switch for the cameras, all the ports are all mapped to the correct camera channels, and it records onto its hard drive.
