Outstanding start to finish. Have bought my last two cars from Redgate and wouldn’t go anywhere else. After sales is second to none and the team always go the extra mile. Can’t fault the service centre either, reasonably priced and great service too. Best dealership in the NE for me. They just do it right.

B uying a car from Redgate Lodge with Scott and the team was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had and I’m not just saying that because they promised me a mug. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stumbled into a 5-star resort… that just happened to sell cars. I’m talking concierge-level service but with more car polish and slightly fewer free cocktails. Scott, my “sales advisor,” should be wearing a cape. I half-expected him to come in on a Segway with a spotlight following him around. He walked me through the options like he was explaining quantum physics to a toddler, which, frankly, was exactly what I needed. “This car here,” he says, patting the bonnet like it’s his pet Labrador, “will treat you better than your last boyfriend.” Sold. When I asked about fuel efficiency, he didn’t just give me the stats. No, Scott described the engine like it was a romantic novel: “This baby purrs at 65 miles to the gallon. Take her on a motorway, and she’ll practically make fuel for you.” Honestly, I almost swooned. And don’t even get me started on the test drive. It was less “try-before-you-buy” and more “joyride with your hilarious uncle.” He gave me a pep talk that made me feel like I was about to go on Top Gear. “Go on, put your foot down! This thing could probably outrun my ex-wife!” Every pothole and speed bump turned into a comedy routine. The rest of the team? Absolute legends. They even offered me coffee that didn’t taste like the stuff they give out for free at budget hotels this was the real deal. I actually started thinking, “Maybe I should buy another car just to hang out with these people again.” In short, Redgate Lodge is the place to buy a car if you want to leave with more than a vehicle you leave with a ridiculous number of laughs, a few slightly bonkers stories, and the distinct feeling that you’ve somehow gained a whole new family. Just remember to bring a pen, because you’ll be signing for that extended warranty before you even realise Scott’s sold it to you.

we had our car delivered to our home by Andy who we had dealt with from the first visit he had been very helpful right throughout the process.This is the fourth car we have had from Redgate,the first being for our son,a corsa si,at the time they were dealing from a showroom in the grounds of their home and right from then the service we have had has been great. Our fourth and latest is a mercedes c class estate and we are very pleased with the car it has obviously been well cared for by previouse owners and is in very good condition which is what i expect from Redgate, Quality.....i had been back with things i did not understand about the car and they were so helpful,,two weeks ago it started showing a fault with the battery so i contacted them and they asked me to take the car in,,i know batteries are not covered by the warrenty and when i got the car back and asked how much,they said no charge it had been done under goodwill as i had only had the car three month,,i have in the past gone back to garages after just a week with battery problems and had to pay for a new one this shows the care Redgate have for their customers,,,,thank you again Redgate and thank you Andy for all you did for us.

Very friendly staff. No pressure to decide or upselling. Test drive was a set route and very short. Spending that amount of money on a car I'd expect to be out for at least 30-45 mins. Car was sold with a buckled rear wheel that would have probably been noticed on a longer test drive. In fairness, they did then fix the wheel promptly.

Polite friendly staff not at all pushy so pleasant experience buying my Discovery Sport. Only gripe was I phoned up after noticing the tyre iron was missing to change my wheel if flat and was told they would post me one but it never materialised.
