I had a frustrating experience trying to get a Ring doorbell fitted. Initially, an engineer was scheduled to come on a Friday, but I received a call saying they couldn’t make it. This happened multiple times over the course of several weeks, often with no specific time frame provided. On one occasion, the engineer called when I was briefly out, and I was told this was “on me.” Despite staying home on other scheduled days, I was later informed the engineer ran out of time to visit after completing other jobs. Today, an engineer was scheduled to arrive in the morning. Unfortunately, I missed the doorbell while I was in the bathroom, and by the time I got to the window, I saw him driving off. When I called back, the engineer accused me of being a “time waster” and suggested the company might no longer deal with me, citing his long travel time. This wasn’t my intention—I genuinely wanted the doorbell fitted and had already spent considerable time waiting at home on previous occasions. The conversation became heated, and while I regret ending it on a negative note, the engineer later called back in an angry and confrontational tone, which I found unprofessional and unsettling. Overall, this experience was a waste of time for everyone involved. I’ll be looking for another company that can provide a more reliable service with clearer time frames and better communication.

Needed my 65inch TV mounting to the wall. Called up and someone was able to come the same day I was given a time frame and they came on time. Harry was the engineer who came to my property and he was fantastic, polite and I couldn’t fault the service at all. He went through everything to make sure I was 100% happy before proceeding. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for something similar. Very efficient and easy to deal with.

Waited in all day, promised an appointment between 0900 and 1300. No word all day then at 1600 get a call with a spurious story of car trouble and no offer of rebooking, Zero communication or care.

Brilliant service. Carl, the engineer, arrived within 2hrs of calling the company ( thats great same day service ) Price was agreed with the company and I needed needed a precise alignment from my 1.2 metre dish/ LNB to Hotbird13G. Well satisfied with the outcome and excellent reception . I am not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. Excellent service from the booking team and of course Carl.

I have now I think finalised my awful experience with this company. Further to previous reviews here the update is that the NEOlink NOAH cube simply does not work. Further to this in the morning I tried to working using the NOAH cube as the WAP only to see that the password has changed. I have been given no instructions on how to change this so how can this happen without me knowing? I called Aerial force and they told me that the engineer would call back, still nothing... I then plugged the ethernet that was installed by the firm into my old TPLink range extender and bingo reliable wifi using my old kit. The NOAH cube (or whatever its called) does not work and kept dropping (i was also told by another network engineer that these WAPS are not compatible with Sky Fibre - I have proved it). To be fair the company did offer to take the NOAH cube back and give me a refund - I simple ran out of the will to do this - I'm simply gonna bin the NOAH cube and write off the circa £200 I paid for it. Its rubbish! You are very welcome to respond and prove me wrong Aerial Force, but I know you cant..

Only giving one star as there is no option of zero! Engineer turned up smelling of alcohol and scruffy dressed - no company branding, uniform or identification. Couldn't provide details of the kit they wanted to install or how the price was broken down. I was offered a second enginner to visit, so took another day off work to be at home. No one showed up! Appointment was rearranged again - guess what; no one showed up again. Avoid this company!

Oh where to begin! I will keep it brief and easy to read: - engineer lied to me, to get me to take the more expensive (and MUCH worse) Freesat, rather than install an aerial (which I wanted and asked for). Basically said he checked and there is insufficient reception coverage in my area to have an aerial. I later found out that this is simply untrue. - made loads of holes in my brand new wall and did not even have the decency to rectify. He simply covered the half pulled out wall plugs with decorator chalk (not even filler!) which meant that I had to spend an entire afternoon making it right. I will also need to paint the entire rear of my house to make it look good again. - the engineer ran the wire straight down the wall, rather than hiding it with another wire that was traced around in a hidden manner near it. - The engineer lied to my parter (as I was out at the time) and told her that she needs to sign the paperwork to show that she has paid. However, I later found out that this paperwork was to indicate that she was happy with the job done, which she certainly was not. She was breastfeeding at the time, so it may be that the engineer took this as an opportunity to have her sign something that he did not want her to read. - I tried to have the system uninstalled, which it says I can do in the terms and conditions, but was informed that there would be no refund as the fees to uninstall would cost as much as I already paid. - was told by the engineer that I should pay cash so that he could avoid paying tax and I would avoid VAT. He said his brother in law would like this (who happens to be the owner). I will be informing the relevant government department of this soon. - the “complaint resolution team” were defensive and somewhat inflexible all the way though. Gave me £50 “gesture of goodwill only and expected me to be happy with this. She then went on to patronise me by drawing on my business ownership history (which I had previously informed her of) to have me admit that I must understand the regulations etc. that bind them from helping further. She obviously did not do her research as, had she done, she would have seen that I know good business very well, evident in the fact that I retired at the age of 39 after the development of 2 very good businesses. If I were you I would go elsewhere. Aerialforce really are not to be trusted. Also, they are being watched by a Watchdog due to their unscrupulous practise. I am currently in the process of communicating with them to try to have them exposed.

Booked TV mounting job. Was initially given a 4 hour window. When I called 3 hours in to find out how long would be was told would actually now be an all day wait. I continued to wait and at 5.55pm was told the job was cancelled as the “engineer had run out of time” - the man who called me was so unhelpful he was practically rude. They offered no solution simply that I needed to rebook the usual way eg with a min 4 hour window despite their shocking service! I see others have made similar complaints and I don’t believe possible that a company with such an unprofessional attitude can have any glowing reviews. I spoke to a number of people throughout the day on general number and all were unhelpful.

The service I received was exceptional. The young gentleman who came contacted me that morning to confirm his eta and arrived at the time stated. He listened while I explained the issues I had been experiencing and then took a look. He quickly confirmed what the problem was, what was required and the total cost. He then set on and carried the work out, making sure that other units were all working too after the new aerial had been fitted. A very polite, professional young man. I would certainly recommend Aerialforce and will not hesitate to contact in the future for any tv/aerial work.

Threatening Behaviour by HQ! I needed an item mounting, spoke over the phone, told 125, website states 168, in person told a different price. Then they hiked the price further while I was out of the property and got the person house sitting to agree to claims. They refuse to refund the difference even though I was not told about this price difference over the phone. They have then insisted to apply threatening behaviour over emails to attempt to silence myself from registering a claim in the small claims court by stating that they'll be counter claiming. I hope you all avoid these individuals.

As previous reviews have also found, been contacted 4pm twice saying that the engineer was held up in a different job. This company clearly doesn't want the custom so going elsewhere. I even called them earlier today and they guaranteed that the visit was still happening. Think twice before booking through them.

Great job from Ricky, Had my broken Aerial off the roof and on the ground in no time at all. Very reasonable prices. You wouldn’t even get a plumber to come and look at your pipes let alone get their fingers wet for less.

Absolute disgrace of a company, booked an engineer for a week ago,still waiting,every day at 4pm a phone call from ariel force saying engineer held up. I've Lost a week's work because of this company.

I have used Aerialforce for many years and have always received excellent customer service. I recently booked an engineer to fix a problem with my Freesat dish. Lee arrived on the day agreed and within the specified time. Lee was efficient, polite and respected my property. Most of all, he fixed the problem, made adjustments to my Freesat dish and television. Then I received a call the next day to check that everything is still working fine. All at a very reasonable and competitive price. I can highly recommend Aerialforce.
