Arranged for someone to come and run a diagnostic on my aerial. Now the end of the week and been cancelled on 4 times. Customer service awful, so rude when they speak to you. Would not recommend

I called today at 1.30pm and asked if an engineer could attend today as our customer had no satellite signal due to scaffolding going up. Other companies had said they could go tomorrow but Aerial Force assured me that they could do it today. At 5pm they called me and said now they couldn't do it as a job had over run, I asked if they could help or send another engineer as my customer is an elderly lady who lived alone and her TV was all she had. They were very unhelpful and basically said that was that and there was nothing they could do. I run my own business and in this instance I would have sent out an alternative engineer but they could not do this and made no effort in keeping their promise. Very disappointing, I now have a very upset customer who is blaming me. My fault I guess for trusting Aerialforce.

Well that was an unfortunate experience. Firstly lets outline the facts. 1. Regardless of what I complain about - the tv is now up on the wall and working, and its a pretty good job. (mark on the wall aside). However as the tv that they took down was still fine, I had expected it to still have the ability to turn on afterwards; Maybe I should have explained that when I said it was going to go downstairs to another room - it should also have power. 2. I chose to have the work done because I really couldn't be bothered to wait again and go through the same process again. So for all the complaints about the cost, I chose to pay. I made that choice freely. 3. However there was such a considerable mark up, and the second time they've done this - I felt I needed to let people know. (For transparency - we had to fit a trunk in the wall last time which was a considerable job and took half a day and they had done a good job, even if it did cost a lot. However they'd fitted the tv oddly and I couldn't get it off the wall, so this call out was simply to get an old tv off and fit a new one up - which went up on the same wall mount. What I didn't expect was for taking something down and sticking a new one up to cause so much strife - and money!) So what is the issue with the cost? Well on their site - and I was told initially on the phone - that this would cost £140 as its a simple job. So I went for it because that was a tenner cheaper than the delivery company. However when they arrived to quote, the technician (engineer?) had a sheet of paper written on it '+£30' which apparently they are now being told to add to every quote you might have had. So thats now £170. Then it popped up to £188 because 'they were old prices'. Again flashing sheet in front of me. Then you have to add VAT onto that, and suddenly its £216 when I was quoted £140. So you can see what, whilst I paid - I'm a bit unhappy at the whole thing. Then theres the power cable for the tv he took down. This bit is less about numbers and more about something that has been bugging me since. The technician cut the power cable to feed it through the wall and gave back the old cable for the old tv. Simple right? Except as he was leaving I noticed it didn't have a 3 point pin on it. (I still need to use the other tv so kind of expected a plug back) When I queried it he said he didn't have it, but you can just buy one for extra. But can someone explain to me why we had a tv attached and working before - (so a power cable must have been attached) and today we fitted a new tv with a new power cable - so that's two plugs in the house ..... and yet we're now down a plug? Its definitely not in the house but can't understand why he'd take it and claim he didn't have it. (He seemed like a decent guy, works for a company with at best a vague pricing structure, but sure we all have).....Either way, that's an extra £25 now taking it too £241. Thats £100 over their initial quote. So in short - add at least £45 + VAT onto the initial quote you've been given for an accurate actual-cost. And watch your 3 point pins like your life depends on it. FYI - also discovered (afterwards) that they have a bit of a reputation too and have been investigated by Watchdog. Wish I'd seen this before. Google it.

Told me the quote was free but charged £60 on top of carrying out works for the quote.... My husband didn't know the quote was meant to be free so paid as I wasn't there. Thanks for charging us £250 for 'a couple cables' and 1 hours work. :)

I telephoned to ask for a quote for a new ariel I was informed an engineer could come around the next day as my mother is elderly I said I would confirm with them if this was convenient with my mother. The next day they phoned to say they were on their way round, which I wasn't happy about as I wasn't there to see the engineer. I had to phone my mother to allow them access to her property. Straight away they said it would be £290+VAT to replace the ariel which was very easy to job took less than 30mins. 3 weeks later mum has no signal, I phoned up and was told it was £69 for an engineer to visit and check the ariel and if it wasn't the new ariel that had been fitted we would have to pay call out charge and pay for any new parts that might be needed. Hard sell and taking advantage of OAP's totally ripped off do not use

Offered appointment for next dat (Wednesday ) which I couldn’t take as away, so they booked engineer for Thursday afternoon. Close to day end no contact so I phoned and they apologised that engineer couldn’t get to me that day so said would come Friday. Again I had call to say engineer couldn’t come and promised Saturday saying engineer would prioritise. Get call Saturday (today) that couldn’t come, excuse football! And yet website offers same day service!!

Took the booking then cancelled on me, booked for installation for a busy pub, lost thousands because they couldn't be honest and not take the booking. Stay well away!

Despite booking 2 days in advance and chasing multiple times during the day, I was eventually told at late afternoon they wouldn't be attending and wanted to rebook for the following week. Most disappointing.

They no-showed the first day, and arrived 5 hours late the second day. I was overcharged, which yes I was foolish enough to pay at the time. The Television was hung slightly crooked, which I was able to correct myself. They dented my fire, which I only noticed later. Recommend shopping around. Not sure if indicative of their usual service, but this was my experience.

Booked for a Monday, no show. Rebooked for Tuesday, no show. Rebooked for Wednesday, no show. Rebooked for Friday, no show. Its difficult to see how the service could have been worse unless we had rebooked the Thursday as well! Would have given no stars but that wasn't an option.

Booked an engineer to look at our aerial on our caravan and replace if required. Our engineer Frank rang as promised 10 minutes before arriving, the original aerial required replacing but unfortunately our TV still wouldn’t find the channels which wasn’t too unexpected due to its age. Frank kindly waited for us to purchase a new TV and set it up. Great service Thank you so much Frank much appreciated

My equipment went faulty and in the words of the engineer “the unit has failed” In the T&C this is covered buy the guarantee yet i was charged £180 to have the faulty part replaced. I have contacted Arialforce several tikes via email and sent them the invoice as requested, i have also contacted Trading Standards. But i am now being totally ignored by Arialforce and am out of pocket by £180 which i sldnt if had to pay as it was a fault with their supplied equioment Also wish to add they are also in breach of Data Protection as they supplied me with a receipt with someone elses details on, so who has my details? A company Releasing any personal details of someone without their consent is in breach of the Data Protection act.

Mitchell from Aerial Force came in to install a Freesat dish in Hoole, Chester. He was very professional and courteous. Managed to fix the issues we had despite our cables not transmitting signals either. Will certainly recommend them again.

Gavin Short comes highly recommended. Gavin did an extremely professional job and was very likeable to go with it. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. Many thanks. :)

Very annoyed. Had a guy come to take off the TV aerial and install a Starlink. The existing one was fed through the roof, close to the chimney, down the loft and onto the materials bedroom. He was asked to do the exact same things take off the old. My husband was at home working and stupidly didn't check the fuse work.. The man had taken off the aerial and put the satlink and said sit was working and gone.. I come home tofind He had fed the wire done to thaster room and put wire holders nails Visibly along on the inner side of the door frame! About half way though. And it's other opposite side to the wall. So no only is it an ugly sight and. Lacking of any common sense, it also means I have to. Have a wire across a door! It's also damaged the painted door frame. As for the Ariel, I found. It at the front of the door step , but the wires are still connected and not pulled pulled out. I tried tugging a bit but it's stick. So I have no idea what he's done. On the roof. If it's removed or just cut on the roof and still connected or if it's not taken out and in the loft. I now have to check the loft to confirm what he's done and hope the wires are neatly done and not in messy way. Would I want this guy again or hire them- no! But I will call to ask them to send someone to take off these and wire them neatly and confirm. He's sealed the roof or whatever

From start to finish the website chat, booking, fitting and service was 100% professional, efficient & friendly! Our local fitter Lee was experienced and took care to advise us as to where to place our TV, supplied us with the correct mounting, checked that the aerial was working and was all done in about an hour. At every stage he informed, advised and checked with us before proceeding. Thank you Lee for your care and advice. We called out Aerial Force following the most horrendous cowboy job done as part of Currys fitting service, which had left us with 3 ugly holes in a brand new wall and a telly on a wonky, wobbly unsafe mount (which took 4 hours to do) and we are still struggling to get refunded for this debacle! It may cost a little more to use Aerial Force...but they have a van with everything they need onboard, use qualified engineers, guarantee their work and are fast and efficient. Mrs Henson from Matlock.

Darren.S arrived with a smile on his face and a ‘can do’ attitude! He helped advice on the height the tv went up on the wall and it’s now up at the perfect height! He worked hard and carefully putting up our tv onto a wall that wasn’t a perfect wall for a tv. After he put up the tv he made small holes and put invisible trunking down the wall. He then did a great job in tidying up. I would 100% recommend!!!! A great service and the tv looks so good on the wall!!
