Unfortunately had lots of problems with Coachhire.com. I booked them for my wedding to transport guests between hotel, church, and reception venue. I chose them as they provided the cheapest quote by quite a long way. However seems you get what you pay for. I was phoned up 5 days before my wedding to be told the minibuses were no longer available due to an issue with a subcontractor. The next day they rang to say they'd managed to secure through another provider. However this caused considerable stress and meanwhile I was phoning up looking around for other options. On the day itself, only 3 of the 4 mini buses initially turned up which meant some guests had to get last-minute taxi and caused the wedding ceremony to start 20 minutes late. On the return journey, I'd requested 4 mini buses and only 2 turned up to do shuttle runs, but as it's an hours round trip, this was not acceptable as everyone needed to leave about the same time. After numerous calls and emails with customer services explaining the issues, they offered 10% refund, which was not even enough to cover the cost of the additional taxis we had to book.

Very happy with my service from this company. Competitive quote and good pre-event activity. Drivers were courteous and prompt. Gladly would recommend and will use them again.

Great service from booking the coach to the drivers on the day. Booked for a wedding party to go to church and venue with one extra stop on the outbound. Lovely clean coach, arrived in plenty of time. Driver waited patiently at first stop and then at the church . Coach was ready waiting for is at the end of the evening... Great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Polite sales consultant booking coach and after sales team excellent . Would definitely use again . Thank you.

Coach hire were a complete let down, I was phoned the day before we were due to have the coach, to be told they could no longer supply it. At this point it was too late to reorganise another coach as anything suitable for 17 people was not available ( I tired about 8 different companies before giving up ) The only solution they could come up with was giving me a 16 person coach, which obviously did not suit. As the issue was there mistake, I would have thought they would arrange a 16 seat plus a taxi or something, but their only solution in the end was to refund me. I would not use this company ever again, and would not recommended it. don't waste your time with them and go straight to the source with your local company.

I would like to give a 5*****, but I did not find pleasant to receive emails (quite a few) to remind me about payments. 30% upfront then the outstanding before the venue. Please, review your terms about these emails. Apart of that, everything else was great. Thank you.

When we set off for our journey, we found that the toilets were locked. The driver told us that we have to pay extra to have use of the toilets. This wasn't mentioned at time of booking. We were 15 minutes away from our destination but the driver had to have a 45 minute break. Again, breaks were not mentioned at time of booking. The journey was only 3 hours...

Efficient, helpful, went above and beyond, wouldn't use anyone else now.

Was getting so close to the time we had booked and they weren't here yet. started to get a little nervous but sure enough the time we booked was the time the arrived. when we had finished for the return journey they were there before we were. driver was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. definitely recommend to anyone.

Booking was stressful as the young man who took the details got it all wrong, but the person who took it over sorted it out well. However I was supposed to get an email the day before the booking confirming everything and giving me the name of the driver but this didn't arrive so I had to ring to confirm it but couldn't get through as I was permanently on hold (admittedly it was December so obviously a busy time but there should be enough staff to cope). Eventually I got through at 6.30am of the morning of the event and everything was fine and confirmed. The confirmation email actually arrived the following day but other emails arrived fine all week so the delay wasn't down to my computer. Our driver, Dean, was brilliant. He arrived early but didn't ring the doorbell until the due time which was good as I was still getting ready. He was very professional, courteous and friendly and never got stressed despite a motorway accident and us giving conflicting instructions. He picked us up on time and got us back home safe. Overall I would definitely use coachhire.com again but I think they need to increase staff at busy times to help alleviate the stress for the customers.

This was the 1st time we'd used a coach service and it won't be the last great drivers very pleasant definitely recommend

I've given 5 stars because overall the booking was exceptional. The company treated my enquiry and subsequent booking with complete professionalism. Constantly updating me up to and including the day of departure. Our drivers were also polite and helpful.. I would recommend this company without reservation and I intend to use them again this year for our annual pre Christmas shopping trip.

After being let down by another coach company, I made a last minute booking with Coach Hire to take us to a corporate awards ceremony in Edinburgh and collect us the following day. Dennis went out of his way to accommodate us, the price was really reasonable and the drivers were very welcoming and professional. I'll definitely use Coach Hire again! Thanks :)

Our coach transport from London to the Champagne region of France lasted four five days and was very well organised from start to finish. The driver was punctual and very helpful and the coach very comfortable. Administration by Coach Hire facilitated everything and worth the extra cost.

Overall booking through coach hire was easy and pleasant. I booked 2 coaches, one for my bridal party and one for the groom party. The grooms coach arrived on time and departed on time, however our coach was over 1 hour late! And the bridal party should have arrived before the grooms party at the venue first, this caused severe delays for everything else on the day. My chauffeured car (on a time schedule) had to wait for the coach as I (the bride) couldn't leave without my guests. The coach driver was calling and asking me for directions! I understand traffic can hold us up but I was assured and given peace of mind by coach hire that this wouldn't happen and that their drivers leave early to avoid such situations. Once the coach arrived (over an hour late) we departed to the venue, by then the groom party were already there and all the guests were getting impatient. After the day was over, my guests told me the experience they had on the way back from the venue, one of my guest had to direct the driver all the way back as the driver didn't know the way. This was very frustrating to know as I booked a coach so my guests can have a pleasent journey with no hassle to the venue (40 miles) and back, not directing the driver and wondering if they're ever going to get home. I wish I didn't book a coach at all now, as everything on my wedding day had to be rushed because I lost over an hour waiting. Food was served late because my guests and I were late, couldn't take enough pictures at the beautiful venue I spent so much money on, as time and daylight were short, I can go on. Easy booking through coach hire, Bad experience on the day. Will not be booking again.

We booked Coach Hire for a trip to Bath from North London. The driver contacted us the day before to introduce himself and informed us that he was running 20 minutes late on his way to picking us up. We had a very comfortable and safe journey, with one 15 minute stop on the outward journey and the same on the return journey. Thanks Coach Hire for a very professional experiance Sunil

The driver on the way out was on time but did not stop where asked and then complained about being on double yellow line. He drive in excess of the speed limit the whole journey. The driver on the return journey was much better and was friendly. I contacted coachire.com a few times and had problem getting them on the phone. They keep you on hold for about 2 or 3 minutes then redirect you to an answer phone which they never return your call. They are not much better via email.
