I booked the mini bus for 23 last minute (3 days before travel) i then called up to add another person and i was told this was fine if i emailed but a 23 seater still turned up. When the driver arrived late he charged us to bring food and drink onto the bus even though we wasn't going to consume it. Once we were on we thought we may swell drink then as we had paid. He told us this was strictly none refundable. the coach was left in perfect condition but the driver has told the the company that we left it messy and thy will not refund by £70 which it totally unacceptable.

We used coach hire.com on 28/08/15 for a family function. I must say how I was very pleased with the service from booking over the phone to the driver that came on the day. The service was efficient we were kept up to date with booking via emails, as I had to make an amendment a few days before our hire date which was no trouble. The driver (Joey) was friendly, well mannered and punctual. He was very professional from start to finish and made our journey to different destinations so relaxed as we travelled in comfort - we felt like we were in safe hands...so big thank you to him. I will recommend this company to friends and family, and hope to use you again soon.

We hired a 16 seater mini-bus for a family outing. Communication was very good before the event giving us confidence that everything would work well. The mini-bus was perfect for our needs and the driver was excellent. He was courteous, friendly, and knew the route better than his sat-nav! He clearly went out of his way to ensure that we had a great day, and that helped to make the right atmosphere for our special day.

We booked an executive 16 seater in FEBRUARY for a 50th Wedding Anniversary trip with the family on 22nd AUGUST, We were initially worried when the acknowledgement said that it might be one of several makes and they would not specify. We were assured that we would receive a photo of the actual vehicle well before the event. I started phoning them over a week before the trip and was again assured that I would get photos of the Exec coach by Weds/Thurs. When I hadn't heard by Thursday lunchtime I was finally told that they only could supply a standard Transit type vehicle! They will tell you how many companies they can select from but you seriously risk being disappointed as we were. Find a local company with a good reputation!

When we arrived the coach driver was early and the flight was delayed. When I asked if he had the flight number he said he didn't but I had provided this and would have thought he'd check to save himself waiting time. That aside driver 1 was pleasant and helpful with the bags etc. The return journey was a nightmare. Booked for 12 didn't arrive till gone 12:30. Multiple phone calls between the depot and the driver who had no clue where we were and expected me to provide directions in an area I am unfamiliar with. Would have expected them to be checking ahead of time to ensure they were on time as this put pressure on us connecting our flight.

This is a wonderful company. Our 16 seater coach was booked over the phone, the staff were polite, efficient and really helpful with all questions, even the price for the coach and driver service was really, really good. On the day of our departure our driver rang to see if we wanted a trailer (yes please!) arrived early and drove very safely to our destination. As it was a holiday camp, he took us to our accommodation and picked us up from this spot for our return. Again, the driver arrived early. I'm really impressed with all aspects of this company and will definitely be booking with them again.

A strong telephone sales person persuaded me to order via them and promised a seamless and exceptional service. I had to call over 5 times to get the details of my booking exact as they kept sending emails without all the correct pick up and drop off info. Every time I called someone different took the query and it was extremely frustrating. For a company who sold themselves on a professional and seamless service - this was not it! The overall price was high compared to other quotes, however, on the day the driver was a nice man and tried his best to look after us. The coach/minibus was in reasonable order and the journey was straight forward. All in all, I have received much better than this historically and I will not be booking with this company again in a hurry.

I needed a coach to collect a party of 9 complete with luggage. from Korea from Heathrow, take them to their hotel in London, collect them 4 days later, take them to Somerset via a stop at Stonehenge for a family wedding. Two days later the coach needed to collect the from the hotel in Somerset and take them back to Heathrow in time to catch their return flight to Seoul. Alex at Coachhire got me a very fair price for the job, coped with my nervous calls about reliability and delivered the service immaculately. I have no hesitation in recommending Coachhire.

Very satisfied with transportation of 16 passengers to and from Gatwick Airport. Bus arrived in good time and although we understand driver had some minor problems prior to collection, we were still picked up on time and delivered home. Excellent service we will use you again.

Booked an evening out at Chester Races with customers.(20) Coach pick up was meant to be 4pm at 4.15 no sign of coach or contact from Coach Company. Finally got hold of Coach company to be informed the minibus had broken down and a new minibus was on its way...after 20 mins still no sign of minibus or contact from coach company. Then at 5 pm a coach arrived not the minibus we expected. If you can call it a coach it was filthy dirty and must have been the oldest coach in the fleet and nothing like the pictuce or detail on website. Not a good impression for my customers. We had a sit down meal booked for 5.30. When we did arrive at the course it was 6.30 missed the meal and first race. Things can only get better or not. Coach pick up time was meant to be 10pm and guess what no sign of coach or any contact from coach hire. When I did finally contact coach Company was informed the driver couldn't find us. The heavens had decided to open and 24 of us where huggled together into a bus shelter. Not funny as we had woman in dresses. When the coach did turn up it was nearly 11pm. By this time everybody was soaked to the skin. The whole evening was spoilt by this experience with the coach company..... And to this day ive still not had any contact from coach hire for this poor service. One thing I will say is the driver was very very helpful......... Grrrr now look at other reviews wish id stayed well clear of this company

Coach Hire from start to finish have been a good company to deal with. The only issue that we had was that the company that was used to transport us was not a very good one, however, after speaking to Coach Hire, they were able to arrange a new driver and keep me satisfied for the remaining transport. One thing that would have / would be nice is for the person who dealt with the complaint or another representative to contact me in regards to the complaint and to see whether I was satisfied. I've not heard anything back from Coach Hire since the complaint. Other than that, they have provided a good quality service and I would use them again if I had the need to.

From start to finish the customer service from Shaun, Jay and Drivers were excellent. Shaun quoted me a great price and happily extended the time for final payment. Jay happily accommodated requests of change of time for pick up and drop off. Both drivers were warm, friendly and polite. Will deffo use coachhire.com again. We booked the coach and all began well, although the coach had seen better days and the seats near the toilet at the back experienced a terrible smell. The revised pick up time had not been relayed to the driver who turned up early, he disappeared when he was told that it would be an hour later as arranged. He then turned up again twenty minutes after people had made their own way home. Will not be using again,
