United Kingdom | 15 April 2014I hired the minibus for my hen party to get all 11 of us to the gorgeous hotel spa and theme night we booked in Manchester. It picked us up to take us on the Saturday drove us there then picked us up from there on the Sunday to bring us home. He was on time at both collection points. The mini bus was clean, the drive was smooth. The driver was smartly dressed and very polite and plesent.

United Kingdom | 15 April 2014I booked a minibus with coachhire,com to take a group of us to my mums wedding and pick us up afterwards. When the minibus was 10 minutes late i rang the contact number given to us and the voice on the other end who claimed to be the driver said he was "just round the corner." This unfortunately turned out to be a lie and the guy I spoken to was not even the driver!!! When the minibus eventually turned up 50 MINUTES LATE the driver didn't even no where he was going. Luckily we got there with 5 minutes to spare otherwise I would of missed my own mums wedding. Then cam time to pick us up and take us back home. The minibus was due to pick us up at 1am but didn't get there until 3am!! No phone call to tell us anything that was going on and know one picking up any numbers i tried ringing. When I spoke to them the next morning to complain about this shoddy service I got called a liar and they told me everything had run on time "if not about 5 minutes late" I couldn't believe it. RUBBISH RUBBISH SERVICE WHO JUST WANT YOUR MONEY, DO NOT USE!!!!

United Kingdom | 15 April 2014We used CoachHire.com to get a bus to go from Edinburgh Airport to St. Andrews and then two days later to go from St. Andrews to Edinburgh City Centre. The bus was on time, the driver was very nice and the condition of the bus was very clean and even had a toilet on board. I would highly recommend coachhire, their prices are excellent as well.

United Kingdom | 11 April 2014The arrangements for quite a complicated series of pick ups to get guests to our event seemed to cause some issues for Coach hire as clearly they were not relayed internally around the various departments involved. In the end the instructions were understood after further emails were exchanged. However the work that went into making this understood became irrelevent as when the driver contacted me the day before he had no idea about the job and I needed to spend 30 minutes on the phone explaining it all again! Over the course of the evening, the job went well, though the driver kept ringing me to check he was at the right place and in the right order. He was courteous and genuinely concerned he was doing the job correctly. Seems communication is the issue here and not the delivery

The driver arrived at our venue before we did, the journey comfy and safe & he was there at the end if our evening - definitely contributing to a hassle-free and good-2-repeat experience. Plus their quote was the lowest I highly recommend then!

United Kingdom | 08 April 2014Booked an Executive All Leather Interior Mercedes Minibus. Got an old, dirty, rusty bus instead and had 12 VIPs to take from London to Ascot!! Just about made it. The driver turned up 30 mins late and was unshaven and didn't really know where he was going. One of the VIPs had to direct him all the way. Appaulling!! Didn't even get an apology and still waiting for a refund!

Drivers on time and helpful while mindful of parking regulations. Kept me informed at all times by email, and phoned to check details and provide coach drivers' mobile numbers in case of problems. Couldn't have asked for a better service. I would recommend them.

United Kingdom | 01 April 2014I arranged a coach with Coachhire.com for Sunday 23rd March. This was funded by my work, for my customers and staff to have a Day out to Wembley to watch Cambridge United in the F A Trophy. The coach was booked for 11am pick up. I secured parking at a local pub, on the basis that we arrived before 1pm and spent money at the Pub on food/drink. 10:55am I phoned the driver up to see if he was close and to get an ETA, I was told that his Sat Nav was an hour out and it was telling him that he would be arriving at 12:05 implying that he would be about 10 mins or so. I was a little concerned, so I asked him roughly where he was, and if he knew where he was going? He said that he was near Yaxley (which I knew was over half hour in a car) He also said that upon putting the post code in his sat nav, his sat nav did not recognise the post code, so he had just missed out 1 of the numbers (post code is CB24 8SA - He put in CB4 8SA (which is 6.5 miles away from where we were) I advised the driver to put a neighbouring post code in to his sat nav. At this point I was getting angry customers and concerned customer as it was looking like it was about to rain. I then phoned the driver back to confirm that the new post code was working and asked if that Sat Nav gave him an ETA. On which he replied 11:50am. Once we got closer to London we ended up going a very strange route, ended going through housing areas with width restriction barriers which we were extremely lucky the coach didn't get stuck. The coach finally arrived at the designated parking area at 1.56pm and we got refused entry (due to the pub closing at 2pm and we wouldn't have time to purchase food/drink) We all got out and I told everyone to still meet back at the pub at the agreed time of 5:30pm. I spoke to the driver and he said that he would find somewhere himself to park and come back for us to the same place at 5:30pm. Everyone met back at the pub at 5:30pm and I spoke with the driver who was minutes away. I asked if he managed to find somewhere to park okay, where he said that he had to go 6-8 miles out to find somewhere without a cost. The journey home was much better. After returning, I read Coachhire.com terms and conditions and saw that for a late pick up of between 31-60mins I should get a 10% refund. I am still awaiting contact back about what is happening about this. The lack of response and my 48 hour or so return of contact now being at 8 Days!

United Kingdom | 31 March 2014I liked the efficiency, follow up and confirmation process of booking. Driver really nice and dropped a present we had left on bus back to us next day. He also didn't mind waiting at the end a little longer. The bus was very basic and seats had stains on so not luxurious at all but it was good value so for transpose from a to b fine but wouldn't want to do a trip or long journey in it.

The initial contact with the sales team was really good as you would expect from a sales person, but once they have your money the service is awful. We made two bookings at the same time one for a mini bus and one for coaches for 200 people. The mini bus arrived on time and the driver was friendly, however the vehicle was extremely old with a massive crack down the wind screen – I didn’t think we were going to make it! The coach booking was awful. We had 200 people waiting and the coaches were 45minutes late. It took me ages to get hold of the driver and when I did he said ‘we are running 45 minutes late but that won’t be a problem will it?’ Of course it is a problem! We have 200 people we need to get to dinner! I previously sent directions and maps to Coach Hire who didn’t pass any information on to the drivers. The drivers didn’t know where we were going and had no knowledge of the area. Even worse they were shouting in front of our clients ‘where are we going? Anyone got a sat nav?’ It was ciaos! I was extremely angry as I had taken the time to send over maps and directions but nothing was passed on! The drivers didn’t even know the postcode for the drop off. On the way back I requested a staggered pick up, with coaches leaving at 11.15, 11.30 and midnight. At 11.10 two coaches had already left without conformation and were half empty which meant we didn’t have enough room on the last coach for all the people left. The driver was rude and refused to come back. I had to chase Coach Hire for the contact details for the driver and for one journey I only received them 1 hour before the driver arrived. Coach Hire don’t have a clue what they are doing and I would NEVER use them again.

The journey was very short, so it's difficult to say more than that the coach was on time, clean and the driver was pleasant. However, I would definitely use the company again.
