We had a lovely smart minibus to transport 12 kids to and from our daughter's birthday party. The driver was very friendly and played lots of cheery pop, which got everyone in the party mood.

I am writing this review having just received an invite to do so in an email asking me how my journey was. It is quite inronic that they cancelled my coach booking with them before my journey even took place. I booked my trip and within 1 week they emailed me to cancel explaining that they did not have any coaches available and I would be getting a full refund. They did not even try to replace with an alternitive type of coach. After speaking with there Managing Director I realised that the lack of common sense and to be quite honest intelligence starts from the very top. It was quite amusing finding out the Managing Director could not even process a refund, let along my refund then taking one week to process. Once the money had been transferred back to me I then received another email from coachhire explaining that they need payment. Just to highlight that is payment for a booking THEY cancelled. So just to clarify my experiance has been the worst customer service experiance I have ever had I do warn people away from using this company. On a brighter side I booked a coach with JR Travel and there service was brilliant, and I had no problems from when I booked it, or to travelling on the outbound and inbound journeys. Now this is the type of company I would recommend!

+ Making the booking was much easier then I thought it would be. + Communication with the driver was good. + Price is not to expensive. - The bus wasn't the same kind of bus as the picture in the confirmation.

Helpful while quoting and taking payment but just rubbish after that . Booked minibus for 2 consecutive days. Day one rang tweny minutes before pick up to advise would be 2 hours late. Understand accidents happen and you can't fore see traffic but ring when it happens not last minute.Had to call multiple taxis at last minute. Spent first day out on countless phone calls to them about second booking. Turns out they wanted to change the pick up time by 45 minutes with only 24 hrs notice after full payment and one failure already. 45 minutes may not matter in some trips but this trip we had to be there at an exact time so again left calling taxis. Do not use this broker service under any circumstance. Ring locally and hire direct. At least that way you stand a chance of talking to the coach company and getting some service.

The driver was friendly and easy to talk to which made the drive even easier. It couldn't have been easier to arrange the whole thing either

Coach Hire were excellent in their service every step of the way from taking the booking to taking payment and providing the service ! The coach was clean and the driver courteous and patient. My 5 year old and her friends had a great time at the Theatre in London :)

I thought your bus driver was excellent and very obliging wit stops for food and toilet breaks. The only problem I have with the booking is that we agreed on the phone for a 33 seater and yous only sent a 30 seater it wasn't a problem on the wat down to Reading but it was a problem on the way home as a few extra friends who were planning on travelling back wit us were unable to

We had to book a bus with only a couple of weeks notice - and came across Coach Hire on the net. They were quick to respond to our enquiry, we were able to communicate effeciently about the payment details, and we got exactly what we asked for. the busdriver was friendly and efficient. Only slight drawback was the age of the bus. It sounded a bit like a Routemaster taking off!

Was easy to book, the follow up from their office was great and the service was exactly what we wanted and pretty good value too. The driver was a gent into the bargain.

There was great communication and confirmation emails that made me feel reassured that it would all go to plan as our trip had a few stops. It ran on time and the company were very good! I would recommend them.

Very quick top take payment then very slow to organise logistics which is a shame as I had my doubts before booking. I had communicated pickup times on numerous occasions over a week before the coach was booked and then they tried telling me the coach would have to come 2 hours early as they never "confirmed" change of time with me, very frustrating. Also asked for a CRB checked driver, never saw proof of the CRB, despite asking numerous times. Coach also didn't have any space for luggage and so suitcases were loose for the entire journey!
