I was really disappointed with program as I've heard lots of positive reviews from my peers and how it helped them with applications for Uni, but my experience was not that bright as there was not only no my choice of University but neither the qualification that I'm planing to do in future - Journalism, there are lots of others courses like Jewish studies but nothing about Journalism.

My mentor has been amazing, very useful during application season and helped me buff my statements - we did go back quite a lot back and forth but eventually, I got a personal statement which was accepted by 5/5 universities

I am a student from the IOM aiming to study music at university. I believe I wouldn't have received an offer from Cambridge without Zero Gravity, as I had little help from my school. Everyone on the forums was friendly and I picked up many tips to strengthen my application and understand what life might be like as a state school student at a top university from reading replies. My mentor was incredibly helpful when it came to my personal statement, as I’d written it more extra-curricular than super-curricular and she gave me detailed advice on how to fix this. She then gave me extensive interview prep; we called twice a week and did mock interviews each time, looking at articles and scores, so that when it came to my interview I felt confident having answered similar questions before and having had the opportunity to act upon my mentor’s feedback.

I am student in sixth form with a huge appetite for learning. Zero Gravity has helped me to get closer to this vision, easing the mazes of the application process and given me a lot information I would otherwise not have had. Ellis has been amazing at preparing me for admission tests, personal statements and interviews - and what I am most grateful for is the reassurances he was able to give me. I really appreciate how Zero Gravity has been able to connect a "first in family to go to university" to someone who is academia, from meeting with my mentor to Yusuf Ben Tariffe's Medical Webinars.

I am a dedicated student passionate about pursuing higher education, and Zero Gravity has played a pivotal role in my journey. With their support, I attended masterclasses that clarified the application process and honed my personal statement skills. My mentor, Bobby, was instrumental in my success. He provided invaluable assistance with my LNAT admissions tests and shared his own experiences with rejection from Oxford University, reassuring me that rejection can be a redirection. Bobby’s guidance in crafting an outstanding UCAS personal statement was crucial, ultimately helping me secure an offer from the London School of Economics. Beyond academics, he offered personal advice on student life and the challenges of living away from home, which greatly eased my anxieties. Zero Gravity and Bobby’s mentorship have been transformative, empowering me to navigate the complexities of higher education confidently.

Originally I struggled with confidence which affected my grades a lot. My mentor changed the way I saw my academic work and the world around me. I am not a person who seeks opportunities with minimal fear because my mentor taught me it’s okay to be scared but doing things scared allows you to move forward in life.

Zero gravity, thanks to all the online calls with different people, gave me an insight on what uni life is like, and busted any myths and worries I had about university. My desired career involves medicine, and thanks to my mentor I could confirm that is the right course for me, and that is what I want do in life, thanks to her being honest about any struggles I will face, and by exposing me to many cases which just deepened my interest in the subject. Zero Gravity was an essential tool for me to help me get through the application process by providing me with essential information. I am very grateful for this platform as it definitely was one of the main factors to get me my university offers.

As a student balancing competitive athletics and study, I have found the support system provided by Zero Gravity an invaluable tool. My mentor Anna and I collaborated on a revision timetable that ensured rest and flexibility, whilst her own interview experiences equipped me with skills contributing to my successful Oxford interview. Connecting with English undergraduates has enhanced my passion for both political poetry and the Romantics, whilst webinars from Oxford professors highlighted the importance of passion and concision in my Personal Statement. The generosity of members giving detailed advice on specific genres and many recommended ‘In our Time’ Podcasts also informed my EPQ research, leading me to an A*. My interest in journalism and role as editor of my school newspaper have also been supported, with recommended online workshops now a strength of my CV, as well my legal work experience at Old Square Chambers.

Zero gravity has been a crucial part to my journey into applying to university. The community pages and master classes offered infinite resources and information about university that aided me in making an educated choice in what direction I want to go in, in terms of universities. My mentor was also an essential part in this journey; the mentoring sessions aided me further in making this educated choice. Furthermore, the sessions and my amazing mentor helped in writing my personal statement, a piece of writing I am incredibly proud of and was praised by my teachers and those reading my university application.

I applied for psychology at Cambridge and Zero Gravity has hugely supported me through this process. Without the insight from my mentor I don’t think I would have had nearly as good a chance of receiving an offer. He helped me understand how to tackle interview questions in a way that my school was not able to convey, which motivated me to try harder with my application. Zero Gravity made me realise that an Oxbridge offer is attainable if you are provided with the right skills and information. The community aspect of Zero Gravity provided a supportive environment with others like me going through the same process. My experience of the support that I have got through zero gravity has inspired me to become a mentor in the future. I am extremely grateful for all the support from Zero Gravity.

I have a deep interest in both maths and music, especially the relationship between the two. I particularly enjoy the composition side of music and have experimented with using mathematical techniques to write music. My mentor has helped me to develop my understanding of the relationship between the two subjects with a focus on improving my skills in music. By helping me to understand music theory and the academic side of music I have been able to apply this to my EPQ, and it has prepared me for university style music. She also helped me to craft a strong personal statement for university applications and to blend my interest in maths and music throughout my writing. Zero Gravity webinars have helped me to become more productive with my studies by providing an insight into how I can manage my time more effectively to improve my performance within my studies.

Zero gravity has helped me immensely. I have not only used its mentoring feature, but I have also attended the different masterclasses that were available on the platform. Firstly, all of this helped me to draft a good quality personal statement that helped me get into university. Secondly, my mentor helped me prepare for the LNAT as well as interviews. My mentor also gave me advice regarding my A levels which was quite comforting. I do not think I would be able to get through the university application stage with as much ease if it wasn't for the support I received on zero gravity.

I have recently completed my A-Levels and look forward to undertaking a Law degree in September. My experience with Zero Gravity has been great, everyone on there has been so friendly and I have massively benefited from all the resources on there. For example; the community forums allowed me to ask and find answers to the questions I had about the LNAT and finding legal work experience, which was really useful. I also greatly benefited from the masterclasses where people talked through their personal statements, this in turn helped me understand how to structure mine and the type of things it should entail. Most of all, my mentor was incredibly helpful, by having weekly meetings the UCAS process felt much less stressful. This was because I received amazing advice on how to make a punchy personal statement, how to write a good LNAT essay from someone who has been through the process and advice with shortlisting my university choices. In general, any issues or general advice I was seeking, I felt comfortable talking to my mentor about, which massively helped alleviate any concerns I had.

I’ve applied to study medicine and I think it’s safe to say that this journey hasn’t been easy. From struggling with my UCAS applications to having to juggle interviews during exam season, my journey to medicine has been a roller coaster. I was confident in my ability to attend an interview during the early months of this year, but as the year progressed, although i had been doing regular recap about medical interview content, I found that I was much less confident and able to check all the boxes for interview questions. My mentor has helped by reviewing my answers and reminding me of the points I didn’t mention. Honestly, I wish there was something I could give back to them because they have helped me so incredibly much and I am beyond grateful for all their support this past year.

Upon joining Zero Gravity, the community encouraged me to found my school’s Law Society, with many Zero Gravity members providing discussions and debates on various legal topics, as well as cases like Donoghue v Stevenson. My mentor, Iona, played a crucial role in my academic development, providing insightful feedback and guidance throughout my sixth form experience. Iona reviewed my personal statement on repeated occasion, providing constructive criticism, and insight into the application process, as well as sharing her own experiences as a law student. This support enabled me to refine my university applications and develop a clearer vision for my future. I am deeply grateful for the impact Zero Gravity has had on my academic journey, as well as Iona's mentorship, which has instilled in me a strong desire to continue exploring the legal field both through and beyond academia.

My tutor helped tailor my CV to the jobs I wanted to apply to and gave me advice on how to flesh out my CV with volunteering as I had no official experience. He also tasked me with weekly activities about what we discussed in the meetings inspiring me to work on revision to better undertsand certain topics! Outside of that, we bonded over a mutual interest in Hayley Kiyoko which allowed us to feel more comfortable with each other. Overall, I was happy with my tutor.

I was living in the UK for only a few months, when my school offered me support from Zero Gravity. As someone who wasn't familiar with the UK's education system, suddenly I had access to different students' views from all over the UK, sharing their own unique academic paths, struggles and feelings. My mentors helped me to feel more confident in my abilities, overcoming my anxiety and building my first personal statement and CV. This experience allowed me to build a stronger network on the platform and in my school. Taking all opportunities available including volunteering, telling my struggles to others, being honest with my feelings, completing Cisco's work experience (that was recommended to me by a student here). It was mind blowing for me how people can truly help each other and be there for one another despite age or abilities.

I’m am type of person who likes to have their whole future planned and so I had always thought I would take a traditional route to become a solicitor i.e getting a law degree then a training contract . So when my interest in mechanical engineering grew throughout year 12, it definitely caused me a lot of stress and unease as it never crossed my mind that this would be a field I would want to pursue. That is why my experience with zero gravity has been such an invaluable one. The whole platform was very easy to use and with the help of my mentor who was studying the degree I now wanted to pursue I was better able to understand what the degree, university life and living away from home will be like whilst getting advice on how to better navigate my first year. An aspect of the mentorship that I valued the most was the fact that I was lucky enough to have been paired with a mentor who is a woman in engineering. There are a few rumours that I had heard about what it might be like but after talking through it with my mentor she has definitely eased my nerves. Furthermore, with her help on my personal statement and interviews prep it strengthened my whole university application and allowed me to get offers from my dream universities.

Zero Gravity had allowed me to speak to a mentor that helped me throughout my exam and UCAS process. It also allowed me to communicate with a community of students that are following similar paths to the one that I am on.
