I was sold a book that they did not have in stock and now I don’t have it in time for my class, even though I bought it 2.5 weeks in advance. However, the book was the best price I’ve seen.

I have yet to receive my book that I ordered on August 15th.

I know it’s my mistake, I do, but only minutes after placing my order for a book rental I realized that I didn’t need it after all because my college professor would be providing a free online copy. I tried to go and cancel my book order right away but there is no option to just simply cancel your order. You have to send an email, because it’s the only way to contact anyone, but I didn’t get a response for a day and a half to 2 days and what I did get said once the book arrived (it shipped while I waited for a response) I could come to the website and do a simple refund and return. Well too bad they charge like $16 for that! I emailed again asking if I could get a free return with refund since I didn’t use the book and they didn’t respond for 2 days to a purchase made on a Monday afternoon but that was another 2 days ago, no response still. I have zero intentions of using this used book service anymore. Horrible customer service, unless you don’t mind waiting a few days to hear back.

No received my book, still waiting and it’s been 3 weeks, how can you sale or rent out a book you DO NOT HAVE AVAILABLE!!! make it make sense! My class already started, had to purchase book from a different website! Still no refund or word about the book! Please use a different website to purchase or rent books, knetbooks 2 thumbs down!

I literally never got the book they sent me an empty box and they won’t get back to me.

I ordered the textbook on 13th. It said that the book was shipped on 16th. However up to now on 23th, I still did not receive it. My class will start on 29.

We ordered from them for spring and summer semesters and everything was fine until we tried to order from them for fall. They sent an email saying we never returned books, we replied with the tracking (that they provided) and proved it was delivered. Then they come back and apparently everything was "damaged with a dark colored liquid" and we would have to pay. Thought you didn't have those books?? And really? We poured coffee on every book before we returned it? Obviously this place will eventually scam you, people should look elsewhere and not give business to them.

The book came in new condition and the price was very reasonable. You saved me from buying my textbook from the bookstore.

I have not received my book. I ordered on Fri 8/11 and received an email the following Monday stating book delayed due to supplier issue and would receive an email when available. As of Saturday, Aug 19, no email or book. I tried to do a chat to inquire and try to cancel order, after 20 mins of no agent, (after saying I was #2 in que) I sent an email and as of today, Tues, Aug 22, no book and no response. However, they still have my money and I’m out of more because I had to buy the book elsewhere. I guess if/when it comes, I’ll return.

Book came in a few days after I ordered it. It looks brand new. Haven’t gone through the return process yet so can’t rate that, but the book looks nice.

Horrible! Complete lack of communication. Canceled order claiming credit card mismatch, yet the charge went through. Waited 5 days for refund. Never received book. Just a waste!

Knetbooks cancelled my order after they had raised prices on one of the books I was going to rent. While Knet claimed there was a discrepancy in my billing, a pending charge came through on my credit card statement and I double checked all information to confirm it was correct. While the company reached out after I raised an inquiry, they only gave me the option to check the status of my order and not challenge the cancellation.
