I was introduced to Allica Bank by my accountant who really recommended them for a business account with instant access savings. I spoken with Chris Webster who is very friendly, approachable, helpful and genuine and he talked me through the features and benefits and then I agreed to apply almost instantly. Chris scheduled a fact find call on the same day and about five minutes later, everything was done. Chris delivers stellar service and the experience so far has been unparalleled when compared to other banks. There is no comparison. Keep up the fantastic work Allica and if this is the service you deliver long term, you’re onto a winner as are your business clients. I’ve already referred a number of friends with business to Allica already. Keep it up guys.

We have just opened a business account with Allica Bank it was extremely easy to follow the instructions for this. Rob Gilks the Cash Management Executive has been extremely helpful with advice and any questions we have had. I am highly recommending Allica Bank.

Online access to my account disappeared of the app. Several calls to the "Relationship Manager" along with emails, so far has taken 3 days and remains unable to access. Allica Bank tell me that they do not know why and they are escalating it (For 3 whole days!)

The process has been the most straight forward that I have experienced. Interestingly and unexpectedly I have experienced customer service from a bank, so I will put some lottery numbers on today as I am clearly having a run of luck! Seriously, it was refreshing to be communicated with and its left me with a good feeling. I hope that they continue as they started. The online bank and mobile App works well and is pretty self explanatory, which is good.

I've got business banking arrangements with a number of providers, and I've never experienced the level of support and communication through the account opening process that I've received from Allica. Pav has been excellent. Interest rate on savings is really good, and the app looks easy to use. Very pleased so far.

I've been banking with Allica for my business for almost a year now, and the service has been nothing short of outstanding. Unlike the big High Street banks, Allica truly values and takes care of their customers. The benefits are fantastic: I earn over 4% interest on my current account, and the online banking platform, along with the app, is intuitive and user-friendly. Whenever I’ve needed to contact customer service, the response has been incredibly swift, with almost no wait times. Plus, having a dedicated Account Manager just a call or email away has made everything even smoother. One minor improvement I'd love to see in the online banking is the ability to assign different user roles—allowing my employees to set up payments for me to approve later. All in all, I can’t recommend Allica highly enough for other UK businesses. Their service is first class and they’ve truly redefined what business banking should be.

I've recently opened an account with Allica Bank, the whole process was incredibly straight forward and Simon Lofts made it all pretty painless. The app is very easy to use. I'm also getting a great rate on my savings pot too! I'm a partner in an accountancy practice and it's great that I've been able to try the service out, I'll be recommending Allica Bank to my clients.

Incredibly slow setting up Allica bank account. I applied to Allica to set up a business bank account on 7 August 2024, upon the recommendation of my accountant. Two months later, it has still not been opened. The account manager dealing with it has been useless. He never gets back to me unless I or my accountant chase him. Then he either asks stupid questions that are irrelevant or have been answered before. Here's an example of the email trail. He sent this to me on Fri October 4 at 8.34 am: > Thank you for getting that back to me I have put > this in the KYC teams que with an urgency of > getting it open today. > I will update you later on today. Needless to say I did not hear from him on Friday or until today (9 October 2024) . So I chased him and got this Out of office auto reply: ----- Thank you for your email, I am currently out of the office and will be returning to work on 14/10/24 if your request is urgent please email my colleague ******* alternatively I will pick up your message when I return to work. ------- Typical! I'm taking advice about how to report Allica to the Financial Conduct Authority. I've had problems with other banks too (NatWest springs to mind as being dreadful). So I suggest you go to a proper bank like Monzo, Starling, Tide, who seem to actually want the business!

We had two short term fixed accounts to raise. For my wife it was easy and all went well. For mine, it has been a pain, as for some reason (at Allicas end) every time we tried to make an initial deposit it was rejected. Very polite customer service passed it on to IT and we await a resolution. ****UPDATE 10 OCT ***** I sent the details as requested by Allica in their first reply (in my view however they are clearly on their records , along with a record of my dealings with Customer Relations on this matter with a small amount of research ) - I have had no reply. I sent a further message 9th Oct requesting attention by the days end , and received a computer generated note that I will receive a call (which I haven't). Today 10 th Oct, Because I need to invest the funds to maintain Interest , I've funded elsewhere and I've asked Allica to cancel the Savings Account and LET ME KNOW they've done so - I await a reply. Overall , my feelings are that the Web Site was fine, the Customer Service was polite and attentive, but the system of responding to me as a customer, whilst done to "the book", did nothing to properly answer my questions, or resolve the problem.

The set up process was made so easy it shows Allica appreciate their customers time is valuable and limited. They also set up a quick on boarding call to make sure the transition and use of app was seamless. I also love their instant access savings pot at a great rate too! Great experience and very easy to apply, Rob Gilks was also on hand at the start and even gave me a follow up call to confirm the interest rates and how the app works (which is pretty simple and straight forward to use, But still great support from our 2 account managers). Very straightforward experience opening a business account with Allica Bank. We were aided by Maria who made the whole process stress free answering any queries we had immediately. We were up and running in a couple of days. The app is very user friendly.
