Once my enquiry kicked in things happened smoothly with good installers and information. The broadband is all that they said it would be, very pleased despite initial concern. Would give 5 stars for product but one less for lack of communication.Would recommend

United Kingdom | 07 December 2024Alex and Dan who did the tests and installation were lovely guys - friendly, knowledgable and highly efficient and made the whole process completely stress free. The actual internet provided by Airband has been excellent so far too is - we’ve previously tried many other providers and systems but none delivered. Our internet’s now gone from a dodgy 1-2MB/s at best to a very consistent 35+MB/s. Even higher would be available if we needed it/ splashed out for a slightly pricier package. Life changing for us North Devon folk!!

On one hand, their promise of high wireless speeds and the innovative signal transmission via remote sight into a dish on your property is impressive and initially delivered on its promises. However, there are significant downsides that have made my experience increasingly frustrating. One of the major issues I've encountered is the congestion on their network, particularly with the duplex systems that many customers share. As more and more people sign up, the performance of the system has noticeably declined, especially during peak hours at night. The internet speeds drop significantly, leading to constant buffering and freezing while watching videos or even during simple browsing tasks. This bandwidth problem is not just a one-time occurrence; it has been a recurring issue that has diminished the overall quality of service. While I appreciate Airband's efforts to provide a wireless solution, the reality is that the infrastructure seems unable to handle the growing number of users. This has made my experience increasingly frustrating, especially when reliable internet access is essential for both work and leisure. If Airband can address these bandwidth issues and improve their service stability, they could become a leading provider. Until then, potential customers might want to consider these issues before making a commitment.

Despite contacting airband daily and promising that I would be contacted by an engineer to arrange a visit to restore the internet they have still not given me an appointment time. The contract with them states problems will be resolved in 5 working days.

The young guy installing was a real star, very courteous and clear in his explanations about the work to be done and how to operate the system.
