United Kingdom | 27 March 2025Just finished a lease that was arranged by Nationwide. On the whole the experience was good. Their portal was really good as well so you can keep track of your lease. It would have been 5* but the last two times when the lease was coming to a close, I had to chase and chase to get some quotes for a new lease. The first time I stuck with Nationwide - even though their main competitor was so responsive and gave them the benefit of doubt. The second time, no replies to my emails and with some chasing (again) the reply was very 'meh' and felt like they had plenty of business and didn't need mine! Sad as they have helped me find 4 cars over the last 10 years and can't fault them. Maybe something to keep in mind that retaining existing customers is more cost-effective than trying to acquire customers.

United Kingdom | 18 March 2025I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. On 14th of march, they delivered a car to my driveway, and the condition of the vehicle was unacceptable. The engine is knocking badly, the interior is full of dirt, and there are numerous chips and damages on the bumper. Additionally, many screws are missing from the engine bay and wheel dust covers, and the tires are in very poor condition. I immediately informed the delivery person that I did not want the car, but he stated there was nothing he could do. I did not sign any paperwork, and the car remains on my driveway. I received a call from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts apologizing and stating they would pick up the car on Friday. However, a simple apology does not resolve the issue, and I am now stuck with the car on my driveway for a week. Furthermore, I have not yet recovered the fees I paid to them. Based on my experience, it appears that this may be their business model and standard practice, attempting to stick customers with broken cars. I strongly advise others to use their services at their own risk.
